Why is it called a recruit night? Are recruits there?
Sorry if it's a silly question, just not familiar with the concept
When Tech's new rushing attack helps it #BeatBama, Loeffler and Grimes will be on their way to Hokie Immortality.
Foster's defense will be top-notch this year regardless. Can't wait.
I'll cosign on this. It's a fun, educational evening. Cav goes through the highlight film of all the signees, then answers questions, mostly about recruiting, for about an hour. In NOVA, it's at the Arlington Cinema and drafthouse, so you drink beer the whole time. I'm definitely going again.

What. The. Actual. Fuck?
i have heard tales of stadiums and racetracks blocking cellphone signals purposefully. why? couldnt tell ya but while i tend to get service in lane, i can never send pics. i hate when people call me during the game when they know i'm there anyways, i cant fucking hear you!
turn up the wick
I'm on the backside of the technology curve.
I know I was definitely using mine during the Michael Cole injury time-out, and pretty continuously afterward for the rest of the game...
And besides that, it is nice to be able to text others during time outs to discuss what's happening on the field.
That said, the rain has never prevented my presence at a football game, much less just because I'd rather be using my phone. Just keep it in a ziploc, it'll be fine.
I don't like going to OSU games when they conflict with the Hokies. Service is so bad during games, I cannot even get scores. I guess I enjoy watching more than the atmosphere.
...coming out of college, Weedon or Wienke (sp?)?
but I can't really use my phones at games anyway because I don't get service. Any games, not just LANE. Don't think I'd use it much even if I could. Stadium wide WiFi is a cool idea though.
uhhhh...I have that....

it switches between keys and the gobbler call.
*edit to add screenshot. also, I need to charge my phone...
my phone in Lane to check on injuries (during TV time-outs) or during instant replays occasionally if I couldn't see what happened but that's about it. Does that make me a bad person? probably
I was obviously joking
an app to simulate key-shaking?
I know Gillette Stadium (Patriots) just installed a stadium wide WiFi network, maybe this is what the world is coming to I guess. I can't blame the business side of it though.
When I go to a Hokies football game, or any game, I don't give a crap about my phone, but whatever, people these days.
If nothing else he's using Sabanism against him. Keep motivating himself, the fans, and (hopefully) his teammates.
Questions: When we #beatbama do Loeffy and Grimes actually get white horses and be celebrated as saviors? Does that then pissed Bud off to the point of no return motivating the single greatest college defense that has ever played. Also does Exum release a new rap song?
So many questions...

I missed something, where did you hear the new coaches are recruiting?
I love twitter-recruiting! I think my twitter-recruiting had a large role in Kendall Fuller's commitment lol.
That's exactly what I was just thinking, that was hilarious.

ever been to alabama? the people down there are flat eaten up with alabama football. they live in trailers that are falling apart but still send money to the football program. i'd be willing to bet (even though there are a lot of great hokie fans) that alabama fans make up 5x (maybe more) the number of subscriptions on these sites than vt fans. there's definitely a certain amount of catering to certain teams' fans
