Didn't the NCAA set a precedent with Penn State that things like this would be punished? This is football being bigger than the university by definition, so the NCAA better not back off now. If they are going to start going down that path then they should stick to it.

the OL commitments. I am curious to see if they will develop quickly enough to compete for the #2 and #3 spots.

What I am hoping is with Grimes in the fold, he will push the OL to compete against each other rather than to keep the "seniority" mentality going on.

Example, I hope that Grimes send Wang down to scout team where he will not see the sun shine again, and for goodness' sake, please start Gibson! I have heard enough from French to have me convinced that Gibson is bad-ass enough to crush somebody.

Dooley is another interesting prospect who could compete for playing time. All I have heard about Dooley is he is a workout animal. Possibly the next Jeff King? That would be awesome.

Carliss Parker is a name I was told to also keep an eye on. If he's as good as some folks says, I wouldn't be surprised to give Leal the run for the back-up spot. I think, though, he might be moved to receiver.

I'm effing excited about spring camps. I know I'll be wearing out my iPhone battery keeping up with Tweets from Andy Bitter about the spring camps.

You're correct. In my mind I was thinking them as the same even though I know they are not. Whoops.

Ah, for some reason I read Prep as HS. Everything makes sense now...

Of this year's Rival's top-25 Prep School recruits, they are all from FUMA or Hargrave in VA, or a school in Atlanta or New York. Looking through the last few years show a few more schools, one each in CT, MA, and NJ, but nothing from KS.

But Kansas has a few noteworthy JUCOs.

Was just coming to share that exact link and share that exact info. +1 for beating me to it.

There really aren't that many prep schools. Kansas has a couple and there is also Hargrave and Fork Union here in VA. I don't know exactly how many and where they are all located, but it is quite possible that he is the No. 19 prep player in VA while also being the No. 27 prep player in the country.
