Sounds delicious! Those usually are the sleeper beers, don't realize how good they are until you are plastered
I get to shop for wedding venues instead of tailgating. Sucks to be you guys! #sad
Boise St and SugarBowl for me :/
The Fear, by Flying Dog. Imperial pumpkin ale, just a tad less bitter than the Weyerbacher. 9% of goodness...kinda like pumpkin guinness stout.
Well after a week of skipping picks, and I will blame tequila, I am back. I have a long road ahead of me to get to my desired .500. Like our #Hokies I need to get some sort of rhythm, like Gloria Estafan says, "Rhythm is Gonna get you". So if the #Hokies get a rhythm, WATCH OUT!. If not, well you can bet O'Cainspring will be arguing over their favorite top chef during the third quarter of Duel in the District. On to my suck picks...
Thanks to many drinks, mostly sponsored by Bullet Whiskey there will be be no comments. Remember, my job is my credit....
Baylor - Too many points.
daU - U mad?
nati - Did you forget? Rhythm is Gonna get you!
tOSU - Too many people are saying Sparty will win.
Vawls - Smokey> Uga XVII
Tejas - Whatever
I think people have jumped to an early conclusion on Holmes. I think that he will get better at reading blocks, it is his first year with playing time. You can't really blame him for a lack of push on the offensive line.
The only problem is that some of the backs don't have the vision to see the hole (if there is one). My hope is that Wang comes back from the injury and plays well, which he hasn't necessarily done in the first few games anyway.
So, basically the verdict is... We'll see. And that statement kind of makes me uncomfortable.
When I go to Virginia Tech "road" games we always lose and yes, unfortunately I will be at FedEx field tomorrow just as I was for USC & Boise State. I'm taking 3 die hard Hokie fans with me and meeting up with many more. We are sitting in Row 1 of section 123, seats 1-4. Got a great deal on Stub Hub this morning! Patience paid off!
Here's to hoping that we break the FedEx field curse tomorrow!
Yeah, really I'd just love to see a consistent 5 yds/carry to take pressure off LT3 and keep the D honest.
So I guess I should be asking the O-line to step up and create some good holes for the backs to hit.
West by God Virginyee - It is a lot of points, but I don't think Baylor is all that great this year and dubVU is unfortunately pretty solid
da U - They might as well be hyped up before we beat them
Cincy - too many points and I'm not sure we can put a whole game together
Sparticus - home game fireworks (1 Touchdown)
UGA - Should be able to win by at least 2 touchdowns at home
Long Horns are back and I think they can cover the 2 and a hook

I want to see Martin Scales get the opportunity to punish some defenders. I don't want to see Holmes piss away opportunities whilst getting 2 yards a carry.
Simple one word answer. That's what I want out of the backfield tomorrow. Production. I don't really care who's getting handed the rock as long as we're moving forward and not backward, and it gives us opportunity to set up the play action and gash their defense with it consistently.

bring on the bourbon.
Cousins - Screw the state of Texas
NC State - hard choice. A Glennon vs daInconsistentU? Coin toss
Cincy - covering. Unless we throw to senior Fuller for the first time in weeks
Buckeyes - Sparty doesn't look that good
Dawgs - Screw the Vols
OK St - Screw the state of Texas
BOTW: I have a case of Oktoberfest and a 6-pack of Fall (seasonal) Woodchuck in the house. Choices, choices...

# | Mel Kiper calls Logan Thomas the most disappointing player so far this season. you hear about these guys during recruiting for years, then they ride the bench and never make a "visible" impact. Takes a lot of discipline and character to support your team in this way as opposed to transfering.
I will be heading up there with 4 others (only one of which is a Hokie). I'm a little upset that I cannot introduce them to a true VT game day experience - but I will try. One has never experienced college football, so it'll be totally new for him. Another is a Bama alum, but we're civil until the start of next year (she will be wearing VT colors tomorrow, so that's a win!).
We'll be in an Audi Q7, so look for us on the outskirts of one of the lots. We'll have beer, liquor and grilled foods.
We're in: Section 133/Row 9/Seats 1-6
- yeah only 5 of us going - looks like I'm eating the cost of that last ticket...

# | Mel Kiper calls Logan Thomas the most disappointing player so far this season. The mechanics breakdown is what worries me. Seems like possibly the pressure has gotten to him, I think/hope he will start getting to feel comfortable and come into his own. I definitely think he needs another year and would benefit greatly from it.

# | Mel Kiper calls Logan Thomas the most disappointing player so far this season. I think Gresh is a senior. Which brings up a new point. He's been the holder on special teams for as long as he's been in the program. Who steps up to take that position? And we shouldn't just gloss over that lightly, it's a serious job. I mean, if you were watching the Ravens/Browns game last night, there was a botched hold on an extra point that could have proved to cost the game.

The players that would get the most money would be from the big name schools. It is just like the sales of memorbilia. There would have to be an equal distribution regardless of popularity or even if you play at all in real life. Paying amatuer athletes for their performance means they are not amatuers.
