I know you dont think our SOS was garbage or anything but wanted to further prove it to be more respectable than first thought with all those bowl bound teams. Thanks for your insight thus far. Its been great!
what do I win?
only the ones we collect at this Sugar Bowl??
I wasn't comparing VT to UM here, as the poster above lays out the SOS similarities.
If only I could use the trash bag full of beads I collected during Mardi Gras last year. Fun times.
If I was a second string kicker (or any position really) that was handed a golden opportunity to become a starter thanks to CJ's punk ass mistake I would literally spluge all over myself.
This kind of shit pisses me off beyond belief. YOU CAN BE A STARTER ON A D1 FOOTBALL TEAM IN A GOTDAMN BCS BOWL IN NEW ORLEANS!!! Stop fucking around and make something out of the opportunity you have been presented with.
If we lose this game due to a missed 27 yard FG.... a 30 hour bus ride or a few nights in jail wont be shit. I will find you !!!
Hopefully this serves as an early example to all the other guys. Hopefully David Wilson will put the entire team on lock down for the rest of the week. I just feel like nothing positive can come from a college football team being in New Orleans on New Years eve.
Praying for no more fuck ups...

He could actually have more than 36 months depending on how he activated his bill and if he payed in for extra use while he was in the service. GI bill doesn't necessarily pay full ride to a school either, depending on tuition costs and if the school is public or private (it should pay for Tech fully though). I will likely be doing my masters at Tech next year, maybe I should try out for kicker...
I dont look into this too heartily. We've played Arky State, Marshall, UNC, GT, UVA, Clemson, *Miami (inelligible), and Wake. Not more than 8 but still somewhat respectable.
At 2:09, when he runs into the ref... surprised he didn't knock him on his ass!
Logan has been able to scramble outside the pocket and throw the ball on a rope all year long. I know everyone has harped on designed roll outs and bootlegs being noticeably absent from the playbook going back to when Tyrod was a freshman, but here's to hoping they become a part of the passing game for Logan going forward.
Great find (Also, if you want you can embed YouTube video grabbing the iframe embed code and pasting it into your post.).
then he should get 36 months of free tuition. He's already completed 3 semesters at CC, so he would have 3 semesters left of full coverage. So, if he makes the team in the fall, he would have 1 year left on the GI Bill, then he would need a VT scholly or pay his own way to continue.
Either way, I wish him the best of luck and hope he can earn a spot on the team.
if he doesn't give him a shot. He absolutely should be a Hokie.
Will he get to try out this spring?
Happy motherfuckin' birthday Joe!
I think since he served in the military.
He will most likely get some sort of grant from the government, which will most likely be a full ride.
thanks for sharing.
i definitely hope beyond hope he gets a scholly.
we as hokies would be honored to have someone like him be one of us.
I think that this will end up being one of the better recruiting classes that we have in recent years .. I think that we get Ekanem and Kirven .. and probably get Caleb (and/or Cyrus Jones) too

by far and away the biggest is wynne. his stock dropped a lot this season.
vt going hard right now for bucky, if it looks like it might take awhile, they'll expand out.
Regardless of where the final few guys end up it is definitely a good sign that we aren't losing a lot our top tier in-state players to SEC schools. It always pisses me off when guys like Percy Harvin don't even consider staying home.
I didn't know Cory Holt taught ballet.
Want to point out it would only take 188 yards well below LT's average total yards of 247.3 in order to get the record so an average game would give LT the record for single season total offense. For career total offense if LT hits around his average he is likely to pass Marcus Vick, Al Clark, and Kevin Jones on CAREER total offense. As a team if VT gets 228 yards it will break the Total Offense by a VT Team record as well.
If LT hit his passing average he will also be the first VT QB to pass for over 3,000 yards since 1972. If LT gets 14 completions he breaks the mark for most completions in a season by a VT QB.
I love how he has 3 brothers who have played or are still playing for VT. Obviously this is a huge foot in the door. But i just hope he doesn't go somewhere else just to avoid following in their footsteps. Here's hoping he would enjoy playing with his brother Kyle at VT (I think Corey is a SR next year)!!

Sorry, but in the interest of fairness, everyone is starting out at zero.
