Regardless of committing to the school, it is VERY late in the recruiting window. Kids may want to jump ship if they don't know who the coach would be. It's one thing if you like the school and get to meet with a new coach, it's another to walk blindly into whatever the new coaching situation might be and forfeit your ability to find a place you'd rather be.

I searched on it and it said the rule changed I think in 2024, that allows them to get out of it. I'll do some more research, but I had looked it up before I posted.

That's for the portal, which is for current students. We're talking about recruits who have NLIs signed but aren't students yet.

The better argument and more target-rich environment is to point out that several teams are substantially degraded and not as intact as they were when their resumes were developed and why didn't the committee properly account for that in their final evaluations. Mississippi didn't move at all? Bama loses in convincing fashion and they're the only conference title loser that doesn't move *at all?*

Completely agree about this. If anybody should be complaining right now, it should be FSU pointing out the hypocrisy of it all.

I don't think Michigan has any interest in hiring a head coach who was fired from his previous job because he couldn't beat Ohio State

This is a ridiculous statline.

Five Hokies with career highs in scoring.

We had more steals than they had baskets.

We had more assists than they had baskets.

We had more 13 more rebounds than they had points and as many rebounds as they had shots.

They had fewer baskets than we had fouls.

We won by 56, yet only shot 50% from the FT line and 25% from beyond the arc.

In a game where we had 92 points, 46 rebounds, 17 assists, and 13 steals, nobody had a double double.

Michigans main concern is beating Ohio St. franklins reputation alone disqualifies him from the job.

Just a PSA:

With all of the wide-ranging rumors associated with this story people might want to pump the brakes on posting speculation and jokes about Moore's situation until the dust has settled.

Speculation about Michigan hires and portal targets seems fair game though.

I was also rooting hard for Notre Dame, but only because I hated the Reggie Bush Trojans. I had to do some kind of church youth activity or something like that that took me away from the game with the Irish leading. I was pretty pissed when I saw the final, and even more pissed when I saw how it came about.

I figured if the Hokies went undefeated we'd find our way to a prestigious bowl of some standing or other, so I wasn't super worried about our ranking.

Those were the days.
