Should be 100% FAM they are free!
As much as I'm ready for Virginia Tech to be back in the national conversation I don't know if I can live with the ESPN SEC conversation if we're ever an at large team. It's unbearable and so incredibly obvious.
Dinich just came on and gave the plan to shut the ACC at large bid out.
The committee has been comparing Notre Dame and Alabama all this time.
Now with the Bama loss, Notre Dame will jump Bama and then it will be Bama vs. Miami so the head to head with Notre Dame will be dismissed
if what just happened to bama happened to any conf champ game loser (except anOSU), they would immediately drop 10 spots
Yes. That was pretty incredible in all the wrong ways. It's still hard to believe just how bad he was.
Here's the thing with Alabama...
Got destroyed by FSU.
Lost to Oklahoma and UGA (both playoff teams).
And played some close games against some of the bottom SEC teams.
But, as stated above, they will get the SEC treatment.
Maybe 31K?
EDIT: Looks more like 15K... yikes...
Yes, If Miami can be punished for not getting the chance at an autobid, due to a weird tiebreaker, Bama should be able to be punished for getting boat raced after winning an obscure tiebreaker to get a shot at an autobid.
And if it was Mizzou in the exact same scenario they'd be out no question too. Just Bama being Bama.
What do we think the attendance will look like for this ridiculous ACC matchup?
Bc the machine wants 5 SEC teams in .....totally pointless.
Getting dog walked in your championship game should matter. Also, losing to an ACC bottom feeder week 1 should matter. Being less competitive with big bad Georgia than Georgia Tech (6th place ACC) was just 1 week earlier should matter.
The only argument for Bama is ......its Bama so they are clearly great
Good day all around for acc sos
This was a good rant but coming from DC, it just means more.
Not just on the road but one of the hardest road environments in the country FBS or FCS
Because the committee doesn't want to punish teams that play in championship games
"but landing a crazy is worth it if you can get a clean get away."
Based on my ex-fiancé experience, I should be in a good position to answer that question, but I'm honestly not sure if it was worth it or not. Have to think for a bit.
I dont understand how Bama is even in consideration if they lose
A common theme of the Pry years unfortunately.
That really is the trick though isn't it?
And they actually hung in there pretty well. 13-21 playing on the road against the #2 seed. Closer than I expected. And way better that VT would have done against the #2 seed in the top level.
Totally agree, but I think JMU has more than enough resources to make Napier successful. He's definitely a downgrade from Cig and Chesney (and his name doesn't start with C) but it's hard to think of a more perfect G5 situation for him. JMU has the alignment that Saban disciples thrive on.
Never forget, Parker Clements was the best lineman his first year starting. He looked like another Hokie diamond in the rough. He just regressed every year after.
I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC tells Kirby to back off to guarantee Bama stays in CFP.
Happy for the Hokies. Glum for George Mason. But this is a game VT should win and I'm glad we did. Hopefully we keep getting this matchup in future years. Much more entertaining than watching us play Western Carolina.
We'll take care of all this for them by going 13-0 every year. ACC won't need to change.

Last year SMU got in even though they lost in the ACC Championship. If you're ranked around #10 you won't be punished for playing in your championship game.
