The #5 Ladies travel to Notre Dame today to face the #17 Irish. The game will be on ESPN at 7 PM. The Hokies have locked up the ACC season championship and the #1 seed in the ACC tournament. Notre Dame is in a four-way tie for third with Louisville, NC State and Florida State, all at 11-5. Syracuse is currently second at 13-4. I don't want to try to figure out all the possibilities, but this game is important to Notre Dame.

Suffice it to say she appears to have locked up ACC POY as she earns her fourth straight ACC Player of the Week. If she wins the next two weeks she will have won 50% of the season I believe.

The Men's Team
In the last edition, I was broken as a Hokie fan. I didn't see much hope for us having a chance at winning many, if any, in this frame.
I apologize to this team for my melancholy.
Yes, they only went 2-2 during this window, but damn was it nice to almost break the record for biggest blowout win of UVA. Likewise, the win over FSU showed a resilient team that can score by the bunches, as did the loss against UNC.
Additional congratulations go out to Coach Young for getting his 88th win as a Hokie coach, matching Don DeVoe for 7th All-Time.

Our #8 Hokies host receiving votes UNC at Cassell Colliseum at 2 PM on Sunday. The game will be on the ACC Network. College Game Day will be in Blacksburg for this game. This is also senior day for Kitley and King. Amoore may be honored also as she is a senior even though she has a covid year if she wants to play another year in Blacksburg.
The Hokies are 22-4 and 13-2 and first place in the ACC. A win today could clinch first place for the Ladies. UNC is 18-9 and 10-5 in the ACC and tied for 6th, which puts them on the single bye line. The Hokies will still be in first place win or lose. Too many moving parts to say where UNC lands.

The Ladies travel to Louisville to face the Cardinals at 2 PM on ESPN. Both teams are good. It's going to be a hell of a game. I played 27 holes of golf in the rain today and have to be up at 5:30 tomorrow to do it again. Here are the regular tables. Talk among yourselves.

Let's go Hokies!
