A couple of swing forwards on the roster already. While he can't unseat Sefolosha as the starter, he may be able to get quality minutes off the bench.

Last year was a disappointment for student season ticket holders such as myself. It was only $99 for the season but 1) The team sucked 2) students who used the lottery got every game 3) we weren't given winter break tickets (Syracuse game) 4) There were no incentives to buy season tickets other than close seats.
This year they got it right. Not only should the team be better, we are now given the option to buy winter break tickets for $7 per game, and we also get to attend a fall practice and special events, chance for free Nike gear, and we will all be recognized at a home game.

Just turned on the TV and watching the USA v. Puerto Rico basketball game and the announcer mentioned "former Virginia Tech Hokie" which caught my attention and it was Angel Daniel Vassallo playing for PR. Only one more quarter of Bball left for anyone interested.

So I've been seeing many school's schedules get released. It looks like the West Virginia schedule just came out and we play @WVU December 30th, not a bad trip before New Years.
After scouring the web, I literally can't find anything else on our opponents for next year (ESPN, yahoo etc.). Does anyone have any additional information? I'd love to start planning winter trips early for any great away games.

Well I just received my invitation to buy Basketball tickets for this fall and finally saw what I have been requesting for years, a tiered ticket price system. If this has been posted before sorry for the repost. Our home stretch has 18 games for this fall/spring.
Maroon Tickets - $495 each
Orange Tickets - $360 each
Green Tickets -$199 each
Finally we can have access to our basketball stadium at affordable rates. I am already buying my two tickets, who else is going to be there?
Saw this on ESPN. Keelon Lawson, the father of three highly touted high school basketball players (and a fourth in sixth grade), was just hired as an assistant at Memphis. His oldest son has already committed to the program, while the second is now leaning to the Tigers because of his father's new job. Apparently, it's technically allowed but a questionable hire. Sadly, Seth never thought to lock up Dell Curry.

Its the Off season , So hokie fans have to do all they can to kill time. While we await August 30th, other sporting events are happening. Today Lebron James decides he is heading back to Cleveland. As a Miami fan, I respect the fact that he wants to give the Cleveland fans some hope again. Lebron did not give Miami its first championship but Miami gave Lebron his first ring. It was a perfect marriage while it lasted.

At least he is getting a shot at making a roster somewhere, although I would expect after the summer league to see Eddie sign somewhere in Europe.
