These last two seasons have put us Hokie fans in a weird spot. Most of us only know 2 VT football head coaches. We're finally getting a taste of what the majority of college football fans deal with from time to time. I just hope we get it right this time

My point is, sure it can feel good to stir things up, poke a hornet's nest, what have you. But often, by doing what you want to do, you just make things worse. I doubt complaining about this is going to help anything.

Having now watched that video, it looks like its a little wilder than it was back in my day....BUT...it is off campus. What can VT do? Sounds like more of a Blacksburg PD / Town Council responsibility
I remember some pretty wild tailgates over there when I was a student ('01-'07)...she bought there in '07, so a) she knew what she was getting into
and b) she wants the school to host a large event....so, a bunch of planning and money and prep for a big dry event that these kids won't go to, cause they'll still be partying at Center St

So...we need an HC who can develop personal relationships with players....who can surround himself with top assistant talent and play callers....can recruit...who will be embraced at VT....
Let's think outside the box and instead of hiring a "Mike Young like" coach, just hire Mike muthafucking Young as our new HC to run both sports

I think you're giving them too much credit...I think they saw how great Malachi Thomas played and just thought..."hey...he's a freshman. Tahj is a freshman too. Jackpot!"
