6 and 2. Cocaine is one he'll of a drug

I am legitimately curious about how the team responds. If they come out fired up, do not fold at the slightest sign of adversity and actually win the game by more than 7 points, I'll at least pay some attention going forward. If they play weak and lazy, fold up and lose (heck, even if they squeak out a win), Pry needs to be fired immediately, we name someone on staff interim coach, Whit is fired as soon as we can and we just have a caretaker AD until a new one is hired.

I don't feel bad for anyone making 7 figures. It's business, they won't starve. If you fail, someone is always there to take your place. I feel bad for people without options, not people in high profile jobs that can't produce.

To quote the McDonald's commercial:

I'm lovin' it!

Clemsuck does the Brotherly Shove wrong, they're taking another look but I don't think he got it

I think he was also dealt a difficult hand with the most dramatic changes to the structure of college sports maybe ever. We're not the only school that has struggled to adapt. Apparently Alabama's infrastructure was based on Saban and they haven't adapted to the new landscape.

I

do people's attitudes change on this if we get to 6-2?

At 6-2, I'm willing to wait and see how the season goes (regarding Pry)

But that doesn't really solve the Fundraising issue.

100% this. They also don't deserve this good of a team. For all the talk about GTs football history and their somewhat sleeping giant status, the fact is that GT football is an afterthought even for GT fans.

Arizona running back had like 220+ all purpose yards. He was great, Fifita was also really good. I would love to have Fifita as our QB.

The wrong Tech team led by a Brent is doing well. Our aim was off this whole time

This is TSL's playbook. Drop hints every 3 weeks that changes are coming in the program based on inside sources but they don't want to burn bridges. Then when something inevitably happens, they take credit for "that's what I hinted at X months ago". I don't think they have any sources and just speculate like all of us.

Everyone knows they're going to fire Whit after that presentation. Whenever it happens, he can take credit. When it happens in 6 months he'll just claim it takes time for these things to work out.

That's an opinion site - no news has ever broken there. Andy Bitter has never broken a story as a journalist, just summarizes press conferences and reports the weather. The rest are speculators and click bait artists. I enjoy some of the opinions given they are around the programs 5 days a week but nothing is revealed on TSL.

Jackets playing hard and fierce. Reminds me of how we used to play

I have vandy to beat USC tonight. I think they are a good team not getting much credit. But that being said....

Remember when the hokies were EXPECTED to compete with a top 15 team year in and year out? Not hope to squeak by them. Much less get absolutely obliterated in front of a sold out crowd.

I have yet to decide if im going to make the 2 mile drive over to lane and see the game in person. Last week left a a very, very bitter taste in my mouth.

VT needs to hire there next coach to win and win fast. If they win and then bolt like Elko that would be a success. The program is on its last legs and we dont need another "bridge" coach to limp along while the last ounce of juice dissipates from the program.

Yeah agree 100%. To be fair I think 7-5 is the ceiling (8-4 if Miami quits in November) but I see a scenario where we're 6-2 and maybe the BOV hesitates on making a move. That's what I hope we avoid. If the fan base is done no matter what it will make it easier for the BOV to make their moves

Also there's an off chance Vandy is pretty good, like top 15, which I don't think should change anything either. I think people should be ready to hold their ground if either of those end up being true.

If you're in Chattanooga and don't mind dogs, feel free to swing by

What time is dinner? Ill bring the ice cream and beer.

No and the fact that we have to consider whether the attitude should change if we go 6-2 is part of the problem. The fact of the matter is this football program has not competed with it's self identified peers in 10 years. And very sporadicaly the 5 years before that.

The only way Pry should save his job is if he goes 14-0 the rest of the year and wins a national championship. And we all know that isnt happening.

Whit should be out no matter what. He hasn't been able to get it done with marquee program in his department. I think hes done his best it just hasn't worked out and time to move on.
