Well... most prolly knew... Doc', right?
(Best fly-catcher (by hand) by 10-infinities...)
Did an epic job of parroting all things Cornhusker for our very own Ag.School.
He may not have been the S&C 1st-mover; tho' he was an A+++ second-mover.

(And his training manual was a gem... "We will weed you out if we can." was writ on the bottom of every handful of pages... over and over and threat or coercive power over...) LOL. Macho. Predictable. Tho' he damn well got results. And where Eye come from... that counts.

Then pear-shaped hilgirth and all his dippy Hulk Hogan trapezius flexing insanity... his before/after pics. Joke.

Then Galt IV. Who, at least truly did SUFFER this Terminal Contact sport and brought himself workebee uphill both ways (@Maryland) on about 1.5 good De1 knees. So, he had made his bones.

And yet-- look what just 1-play (1 up vs. 12 down) has Culturally happened.

Now=???

I do know know... tho' I do know that now is not the time to have to reboot-- much less to have zero boot.

😰,

I guess that's fair, but that's a LOT of conjecture. How do we know who Fuente and Pry wanted vs didn't get or had a limited the budget for. I mean, MAYBE it is true, but what are we expecting, that Whit would pony up the cash to poach away coordinators from top 10 teams? Most of them are probably hoping for HC gigs. There are probably multiple factors with respect to coordinators. PLUS, it's not like there have even been that many. The statement that he hasn't overseen a good coordinator hire makes it sound like he's overseen dozens of them.

He's had two head coaches, possibly played a part in retaining Foster, but then I remember hearing that Foster highly recommended Justin Hamilton. So how much of that was whit vs Fuente taking a hall of fame worthy DC's recommendation on a pick? We had plenty more money than what we spent on Hamilton, so I gotta think that one was influenced more by Foster than by Whit. And I highly doubt Whit had any say, even purse strings related on Corny - that was all Fuente all the way.

That leaves Pry. Everything I remember hearing on here was that he picked Bowen and Marve based on their cerebral qualifications, and that he knew them already. Most head coaches hire people they know, at least to some degree, and it seemed like Pry did that with a lot of his selections. So if Pry was hiring people he had good relationships with, how do we know Whit made purse string limitations?

By my calculations, Whit didn't influence Fuente bringing Corny, probably didn't factor into Foster being retained, and almost definitely could have paid more (a LOT more) than what we paid Hamilton, so doubt Whit was the limitation there. Even still, to date, it appears Whit has overseen the hire of exactly 3 coordinators, which is not a large sample size. (The 3 being Hamilton, Bowen, and Marve, attributing Corny solely to Fuente and not based on any sort of limitation based on budget for that one).

Ugh...Fine...I'll take a shot.

When I counted calories, I tried for around 300 at breakfast, 500 at lunch, and 1200 to 1500 at dinner. Usually I would end up snaking during the day and reducing the dinner amount. I lost around 20 lbs doing the counting, and only the counting. But, it took a year. More macro control definitely made it more effective. At that time, I mostly just tried to eat significantly more protein than fat (surprisingly hard to do until you clean up what you eat), and eat filling foods.

There was some mental strain in everything being based on the almighty calorie. I can't say I want to go that route again.

Today is the first time I've ever took the initiative to count calories. It's also the first time I've ever really monitored what i ate.
I've always felt the daily recommended value (drv) of caloric intake of 2000 was low for an adult male; however now at my age of 45, that's where i'm going to set my baseline. Considering I have an office job and spend the majority of my day at a desk on a computer, my body probably doesn't require any more than that.
This morning breakfast totaled 290 calories, lunch was 430 and dinner was 395, for a grand total of 1115. I still did my evening 20 minutes on the treadmill for -100 but also enjoyed about 3 ounces (~100ml) of Wild Turkey 101 @ 87 calories per ounce.
Overall, i'm still very hungry right now but content. Pretty excited that I made it through the day without boredom snacking and overeating at my meals, while still leaving room for a little WT101 enjoyment.

Sdrawkcab I'm a Lasagna Hog, go hang a salami

Part of that was Young used Rodney Brown and Jaydon Young at the point a bunch against Cal. Jaydon got 27 minutes, Brown and Rechsteiner both played 23.

It was a similar split between Brown and Rechsteiner against Stanford.

Brent Pry was born in Altoona where his grandfather worked for the railroad there. Just outside of town there's a famous turnaround and namesake of a minor league baseball team, the Altoona Curve. Trains traverse 220° around the curve. If you travel at a heading of 220° from Altoona it roughly puts you in Bristol, where tech played Tennessee. Also with the same heading from state college you get to Blacksburg and from Buffalo where Pry played college ball you get to Knoxville. Of course this is me eyeballing it but Banks is all but guaranteed if you ask me.

I have seen and talked with a lot of folks that have them. Most all of us have bought some random brand from amazon. I don't know anyone who has had an issue with one of the higher volume/better reviewed ones.
I've bought two "Sperax" ones. My wife has put a lot of miles on hers with no issues. I've had mine at the office for less time. But, still no issues.

That's good to hear! Also gotta give props to Rechsteiner for holding it down when Hammond was out. He only had 2 TOs against Stanford and none against Cal.

Someone just needs to bite the bullet and make a conspiracy board that tracks Pry's entire career and everyone he ever crossed paths with, and then cross-reference that with all coaches still actively coaching in the CFP and NFL
