Wow. That's a huge upset. I'm liking Tech's chances of a top 5 finish a LOT less all of a sudden.

I need some advice. My girlfriend happily texted me saying she picked Virginia Tech to win it all in her office bracket (obviously she picked the school up North). Is this more my failing or hers? I blame myself.

I'd like to have five dollars for every member here of TKP who wasn't thinking the same thing as Joe, just was either too late, or unable to figure out a way to fund our young fan.
Only about 25 programs surpass that number for average attendance. That's a lofty goal for a school not in a major metro area or cult following.
I will admit that I was wrong in thinking how things would play out. I thought we'd be comfortable, without running away with it, but comfort was in short supply last night. Our inability, again, to actually score the ball when penetrating was tough to watch. We lose so many points at the rim, especially when fouls are not called. Oh well, the most important thing is the win, the advance, and LeDay's stellar play, which I think most of us expected against Princeton. I'm at a loss as to what to think now, against BYU. Guess it'll take another late night to find out. I'll take it!
