I'm sure this has been talked about on her before, but what position is Rodgers projected to? 247 and Rivals have him as an athlete.
While I do think it's a low priority, I think once it comes up on Whit's to-do list he will pull the trigger. I think it boils down to different financial philosophies rather than being a recruiting tool. I'm sure Whit has looked at where the money is going and Penske truck rentals into perpetuity isn't something he probably wants to keep doing.
I used to work at a music store that rented PA equipment. We had this DJ that worked weddings every weekend and every Thursday he'd come by and rent a PA system. We asked him why he didn't own his own stuff because it would pay for itself in a few months of gigs. Answer was his wife wouldn't let him. She would rather see many small cash outlays while staying in the black all the time, than go into debt by dropping a few thousand dollars one week and zero dollars for the life of the PA.
I believe Silas is prepping, not grey shirting.
Dzansi added that he plans to take an official visit to Blacksburg this weekend, but that trip will have to serve as his last taste of Tech for a bit. He says he'll be enrolling at Fork Union Military Academy for the fall semester to "get my test grades up" and refine his game before heading to Tech in the spring.

This was my biggest takeaway:
