Darrell Hazell hired Kevin Sherman after we went 7-6. He thought that was a pretty good season.

Talk about a good story for this season: the Broncos O and Manning have looked awful when lining up and running Kubiak's style. The game last night turned when Kubiak let Manning do what he does, and start making a lot of line calls out of shotgun.

Manning is still on the steep downside, no doubt. His deep passes have no accuracy because it takes all his arm strength now just to heave them that far.

Results matter.

The last 4 years we have not been in ACC title game that doesn't look good to recruits.
Yeah our bowl streak is something cool but we can't hang out hats on just keeping it 6-6 or 7-6.
The aura around Beamer also could be hurting but we can't do anything about that so its a mute point.

regardless we're in year 3 and slowly but surely starting to recruit the necessary kids to fit our scheme's. I'm not expecting top recruits this year or next.. just keep on pushing on and hopefully we can get back to being ACC relevant again

point of the catch behind the LoS

There's your answer. Pretty much no forward-pass fouls (pass interference, ineligibles downfield) count when the ball doesn't cross the LoS (technically the neutral zone, but whatevs, same deal). So long as it's an eligible receiver who touches it first (or defender), you can do pretty much whatever the heck you want to him or other players that isn't a hold or personal foul.

One of my biggest peeves with Lefty is the fact that he constantly tries to use Bucky on screens, typically for little or no gain. Bucky needs to be used down the field and as a mismatch in the redzone. I don't see any benefit in the screen game. He doesn't have the shake that Isaiah/Cam/McMillian have, and they are the ones that should be catching those screen passes.

It appears she was previously married to Brandon Underwood, a former Green Bay Packers player. Let's just say, the news articles indicate it didn't end well and not by any fault of her own if you get my drift...

She certainly found someone better in Logan, he is a good dude.

Darrell Hazell prefers neither vinegar- nor tomato-based BBQ sauces, as he just doesn't think BBQ is all that good.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Based on Peyton's post season performance, injuries, age, and how he opened this season: 5 quarters, zero tds, and 2 pick 6s. At what point is it premature to assume that Peyton is on the decline?

Zero interest. But it was 10 pennies. **sarc**
At least I did get the principal returned. I had to go in a bucket, which my Father then made me sift through (Since I was dumb enough to swallow good money) until I found it a couple of days later. Lots of acid stains.

where in the world did you get that statistic? That seems like an unrealistically high number...

They can't kick, punt, or return... so they go for it every 4th down, go for 2 after every TD, and lobby the official for the XFL "scramble" in place of the kickoff at the start of every half?

EDIT: just remembered the scramble took the place of the coin toss. Man, the XFL was bad.

I am still trying to figure out how you think it kills excitement. To me it brings more excitement for the fourth quarter.

Thanks French. Good stuff. I predict INTs.

I stopped the little pitch pass video at the point of the catch behind the LoS. I notice that the OL are at least 2-3 yards downfield. That's really close to ineligible downfield. I guess this is marginal and wasn't called this time.

The percentage of a win versus Purdue dropped from 98% to 87% since the first article. Is that just due to the loss to tOSU or losing Brewer?
Curious and thanks.

yes, well, you're already at a baseball game, so there's not a ton of excitement to kill to start with.

seriously. I should just come in to work late. I can read through all the new stories a lot faster when I'm not pretending to work.
