I imagine your fans and players will be surprised more so by the noise relevant to the size of stadium and number of fans. They will probably be thinking "this is about as loud as PSU", since technically speaking they are almost the same decibel level.
This is especially true for the "Cupcake" Phase of any romantic relationship...

There is a tubing business on the James River in Buchanan, VA (about an hour away) that may be open Tuesday. We checked it out. Good setup.
There is another place near Pearisburg, but they are shutting down for season after Labor Day.
For everyone saying it's already a crowded backfield, you need to remember it's always going to be a crowded backfield. We lose JCC but gain Marshawn and DJ Reid (and a few others as well). We'll continue recruiting new running backs as well. Unless we completely screw up on the recruiting trail, the running back stable will always be crowded. If a guy is ready to play and can compete for a spot, you have to let him play, and enjoy the talented depth while you have it.
have you been to a night game at penn state. You guys LSU, PSU, Oregon all probably swear they are the loudest.
And no, I don't care about decibel levels at different parts of the game.

I would agree completely with this if you put Miami in at 5, and flipped Purdue with Furman.
Every 6 dB is a doubling of power for sound measurements. So 2 dB is a notable step from 111 dB.
Here is some more info to help:
dB of sound pressure level (dB SPL) is defined as: 20 log10 p1/p0 where p1 is actually measured sound pressure level of a given sound, and p0 is a reference value of 20Pa, which corresponds to the lowest hearing threshold of the young, healthy ear. In the logarithmic scale the range of human ear's audible sounds is from 0 dB SPL (hearing threshold) to 120-140 dB SPL (pain threshold) (see table 1 below).
This all assumes the measuring device has the same p0 reference as stated in the above quote - which it likely does.
113 dB would be quite annoying for their offense for an entire game duration.

I concur. I understand that these next 5 days will include ridiculous levels of homerism on both TKP and 11W. Its already getting bad on 11W with some predicting Ohio State winning by 40. I try to ignore these idiots, but I realize they are just getting overly excited and losing grip on reality. Happens to all of us I guess.
I especially can't stand the talent argument. You don't play football to determine who has more talent, it's a competition to win a football game, the idea of talent is just a way of predicting who will win. Saying you have more talent just makes your loss look worse.
I think you answered your own question. Bud Foster yelling would read 200 on the dB scale. Little known fact, in the Mic'd up video yesterday, fourteen microphones were destroyed during production.

Cow because of the byproducts. Also a good steak is probably one of the most simple and delicious meals on earth. I will really miss buffalo wings though.
