The question was what does the depth at the position look like in '17, so that was the question I answered...
I love Lane Stadium. I was there for the 2003 Miami game, and the 1999 Clemson Game (which was the game where Corey Moore welcomed us to the "Terrordome"). Those are the loudest Lane games I've been to.
LSU game 2007 was the loudest place I've ever been in my life. I truly feared for my safety.
Yep.... 8-4 to 11-1 is the realistic range this year with a healthy team. 8 wins being the low end and 11 being the high end.
Of course, if we have what happened last year, that could quickly shift to a range of 4-8 to 8-4
Wait.... we were supposed to give up nap time at some point?

Well apparently there will be a Khaki cam on Jim at all times during the season. At least I saw something like that on Twitter the other day.
Woah, sorry. Didn't think anyone would actually think I was being serious on that one. I figured everyone knew from the fact that we converted so many third-and-longs.
I agree. 8 wins is my benchmark. anOSU, GT, Pitt, Miami, and UNC are the toughest matchups on our schedule. I think of Pitt, Miami, and UNC, we should take 2 of them, could take all 3. I'd put my guess at a 9-3 season, but there's absolutely no reason this team should not finish at least 8-4.
That article was a very interesting read. I took a couple things from it....
1. Jim Harbaugh might seriously have some mental health issues. Harbaugh has been known to be very awkward in social situations as he often doesn't know what to say and pauses for a long time before he can muster anything that might pass as a rational thought. I've seen him in several low key interviews and he is always a deer in the head lights. Jim just isn't like the rest of us. He is "special."
2. Jim will always be carried by his obsessive personality and over inflated ego. I do think Jim will find success at Michigan because he will literally out work everyone on the planet until his staff is burned out and can't take it anymore. Jim has been great wherever he has gone, but he has left a burning trail of assistant coaches, players, GMs, and owners in his wake. He will win at Michigan, but not before he gives the Michigan AD a heart attack.
3. Urban will make Jim shit in his khakis at some point. I'm not sure when, but I hope camera crews are on the look out.

If not for the spread I'd probably be in agreement with you, but a big spread makes it much easier for me to make a decision.
LOL. They have UVA beating Boise State and us and finishing 5-7. Hahaha, that says all I need to know about the credibility of that prediction. Oh and they have NC State going 10-2. Man...these guys are all over the place.

yeah, and what is the breakdown of those carries?
Williams = 12 carries = 55% of RB carries
McKenzie = 7 carries = 32%
Coleman = 3 carries = 13%
Pretty close to my ballpark figures listed above, wouldn't you say? Here they are again so you don't have to scroll.

#2 30-40%,
#3 10-20%
S. Beamer stuck to that breakdown for most of the season, except when injuries messed up the rotation.
Let's use their LOLUVa picks as an example for why we can completely disregard their opinion, shall we? I won't comment on the losses, because I happen to agree with all those picks.

Nov. 21 Duke W (Until I'm proven otherwise, I maintain that LOLUVa has supplanted Duke at the bottom of the coastal and will go with blue devils over cavs every time)
Nov. 28 Virginia Tech W (they couldn't beat us with half our starting skill players out with injuries last year, no reason to think that will be any different)
I feel like if you're doing this, then the atmosphere has already had an affect on you. And as many of you have already said, it will be totally different with 66,000 screaming their heads off.
