What good is an omelet with no ham or bacon in it though?
Yeah, I actually thought this in my deliberation.
My first reposte' in this fight between the voices in my head was, "Well, I'll just make a steak and egg omelet".
Second voice - smirk
Oh.
"nowhere near perfect" ... what you talkin' 'bout Willis?
I loved the video. Thank you for taking the time to put it together. I am pumped for another Hokie victory over OhSU.
We all wish for that, but lets be honest and call a spade a spade. Urban's an a**hole, always has been...he has temper-tantrums like a 12 year-old girl, people are just willing to overlook it because he's a great coach. IF we win, you can bet your ass you'll hear excuses from him and the majority of the fan base. Some OSU fans are nice, but my experience says they're the minority. I didn't get paid last year on my bets on the game, and I don't expect I will this year either (I am more intelligent than to bet with the same schlub). If anyone knows some nice OSU fans, and want to introduce me, feel free...until then, I have to use my experience.
Anyone else concerned about Shane's 'I hope so' in response to the offensive line opening up holes or am I just being a cynic?
What are you wearing, "Jim from Michigan"

It will be fun. Its nice when the coach of your enemy is easy to hate. It was hard to hate Brady Hoke because he constantly mumbled and just seemed like a laid back guy who was borderline aloof. Jim Harbaugh is a in-your-face maniac with an ego the size of Mt. McKinley....err, Denali.

You can get by with agar, derived from seaweed and has a much higher melting point but you lose some clarity and it makes a much firmer shot. I was thinking about using it for Monday but it looks like the temp won't get out of hand so I'll stick with gelatin for Arnie Palmer & Old Fashioned shooters.
I don't want to eat anything from a chicken that resembles ice cream.

I'll say he is in the primary 2 back rotation by October when the conference schedule begins.
I agree, which, by the way, makes for very boring internet conversations with 5 days left til kickoff...
Good insight on the Gore comment. Funny, Gore has had a better career than all of them. Kind of funny considering Portis/McGahee were always regarded as more athletic while Gore was considered the bruiser.

No doubt it will be louder than the shoe. I don't think any Ohio State fan will debate that. The shoe really isn't loud at all to be honest. I think our players will be surprised by the noise at Lane, but I don't think they will be intimated. I don't imagine they will walk into Lane and just be in complete shock mode. We aren't a MAC team.
Yes, technically 113 vs 111 decibels would be harder on the ears using logarithmic scale than 92 vs 90 degrees would be hotter on a linear scale, but not by much. Visual aid below:

Lose Willis McGahee after 2002, replace him with Frank Gore, who had actually beaten out McGahee and backed up Portis prior to an injury. The depth on that team was unreal. 2004 USC is really close, though. A ton of NFL talent on that team as well.
From the 1 prediction?
And our Mike got injured. So many big losses we've had have come down to the Mike getting injured and allowing big runs because of it.
Yeah, watching that game was a great pre-game for the VT-Wake game that night.
Joined up a tailgate that had the game playing on a big screen in the parking lots, and even the police that were patrolling by parked their cars, got out, had a drink, and watched with us. Good times.
I posted this on another thread yesterday but felt it was more relevant here.
I found this quote from a Buckeye fan over on Elevenwarriors and I must say it is very pleasing to read as a Hokie. Not all of their fans are complete homers.
The stadium seats about 66,000+. If you want my personal assessment of the stadium I'll be happy to say. I've been to multiple games in the Shoe, not to mention I was at last years VT game in the shoe, and man that was a hard pill to swallow. Reverting back to Lane Stadium I had the privilege to go see the 2011 Miami game when Jacory Harris was QB and it was deep in the 4th quarter with VT up 35-31 (I think it's what it was). There was about a minute and a half left on the clock and it was up to Bud Fosters defense to come up with a stop. That stadium was louder than any Ohio State game I've ever been to. I say that with no disrespect it was truly a site to behold. Immediately following the first play that was snapped, the Hokie Defense came up with a big stop, Enter Sandman was played and I've never seen anything like it. It was electric in that stadium. I think the numbers game is a little outplayed here because those fans know how to get rowdy. I just hope we have enough Buckeye fans in there to try and offset but I have a feeling that wont happen. Here's to a legendary game in Blacksburg, I'm expecting one for the ages. Let's be real here, VT outside the top 25 is a slap in the face with all the talent that roster possesses. They got unlucky with injuries last year. I fully expect VT to bring everything they got, but then again, so will we. As long as we have Urban I think our Buckeyes will do fine in Lane.

I'm not your pal, guy.
Please scroll up to the picture of the decibel meter.
Okay, the comment should be for the questioner then. The answer: it doesn't matter. This is a potential 5* kid and those kids don't care about depth charts. It is assumed they will be at the top of their position almost immediately.
Kevin Jones wasn't worried about Keith Burnell.
