If you have ever seen a photo stereograph and used one of them, it can prep you for using a magic eye. They date back to the earliest days of photography and since you can already see the image(s), it can be easier to get your eyes to align on the combined image.

Wow you guys got that much in NC? Up here in PA we only got that big snow ten days ago and no new snow since aside from a minor dusting. Biggest problem up here is the extended cold - highs in the teens to low twenties and lows in the single digits for the last two weeks. Forecast has us getting above freezing sometime next week. But not before negative lows and single digits highs this weekend
I buy this. The app on my phone is reporting single digits every morning but I put a thermometer outside and it's usually 7-10 degrees warmer than the app claims.

UVa alums get into a food donation contest with VT alums and when it's clear they are going to lose in the amount of food collected, they get some rich polo-wearing, Zima-swilling douche who did not actually bring in much food to write a big check for the equivalent of X-many pounds so they can "win" the food donation contest.
UVa alums also knowingly donate food to the food bank in 2026 that has expired in 2024 so people can see them bringing in a big box of stuff and virtue signal.

A little off topic here: Apologize for being less active than usual these days. Spent the past few months accepting a dream job as a consultant working with professional sports teams and college athletic programs, traveling cross country to Las Vegas, adopted the most adorable little beagle and pursuing a childhood dream of playing poker semi-professionally.

VT does have a disclaimer about strobing lights, sound, etc. prior to each basketball game if you are there before game time. Would expect a similar disclaimer to be on the Jumbotron at some point.
I probably will get the yardage book more as a souvenir than anything else. Arccos will help me navigate the course.
Agree with telling them internal vs external, and i thought i had eluded to that might be the case.
However, on the politics side of it, this is where I struggle because you have appointees and the business isn't for profit (sort of) it complicates things that shouldn't have politics involved. For the amount of money he oversees he should have a lot of autonomy to execute, but it hadn't appeared that way if he needed BoV approval to spend or communication with his customer base that it cost more money for a better product. Again I am not in the public sector so don't take this as issues with Whit as much as comparing college sports to private industries it looks odd. And college sports are looking more and more like private industry every day.
