I could very well be wrong, but I think there are limits on what we can get. I don't know that we can get it as simple as that. I don't exactly know the details of our contract with Nike though. I'm sure there are specifications regarding what we can get and how often we can get them.

This game wasn't nearly as sloppy as some of the recent debacle's. They did an ok job keeping possession of the ball, with only six turnovers in the game. They were pretty even rebounding although we need to do better on the defensive end of the floor, as we gave up quite a few second chance opportunities. We even shot a respectable 73% from the free throw line, shooting 24-33.
The biggest difference in the game was just plain shooting the ball. We actually shot better from behind the arc at 39% than we did from the floor at 33%. Combine that with allowing Wake Forest to shoot 53% on the game and you aren't going to win many contests. I agree with several of the comments above regarding our lack of an offensive identity, as that has been the one consistent throughout this season. The man with the ball last shoots is not an offense, its like street ball, except people usually shoot better in street ball.
We let Wake jump out to a huge lead and coast, and when we could have been focused on getting some of their starters off the floor by forcing their fifth foul, JJ had no focused effort to make it happen. Three of their starters finished the game with four fouls each. Even in high school, my coaches knew when a guy got to his fourth foul and would focus the offense to drive on that guy, either to get the fifth foul or because the guy would go timid to avoid the foul. I get more and more frustrated with JJ each game as I fail to see much in the way of progress on the offensive side of the ball.
Speak for yourself. It's not a holiday so not every job gives you the day off and not everyone can take the day off either.
I never want to see the black uniforms again myself. Too much bad Boise State MoJo. Same reason the all orange should never be worn again...Duke MoJo.

Do schools really buy their own unis? I'm fairly certain that's part of our deal with Nike, that they supply them, except for certain circumstances such as our charity auctions. And I'd expect that if the new AD (or whoever deals with such things) went to our Nike rep and said "we want an awesome black uniform for Black Friday", Nike would be more than happy to oblige.
Yeeeeeah, if LOLUVA beat UCLA, I would weep heartily.

The most comical was Trevor Thompson's at the end. Defenders were going to guard the pass for three, instead he splits them, throws down two handed and it sails back near half court.
If they would have made them, it is easily a closer contest and possibly a win. But they missed them mostly during chances at a run and resulted in Wake getting the ball back. Definitely a game in which the final score is a lot closer than the game ever really was.

You know what's a better piece of memorabilia? A ring. Ask any player if they would rather have a jersey or a ring and see what they say.
He benign iScrapp didn't misunderstand anything. His MO is to wait until a discussion gets a little heated, and then chime in with intent only to cause trouble. Then he cries foul about how his "opinions and observations were trampled on." You know, because comparing Joe's post to Generalismo Franco was a completely legitimate observation and not some kind of weak attempt to pick a fight. It is tedious and utterly lame.
I appreciate all the love and naysayers. You guys are my family and I can't help but be excited that both sides are being represented.

Initially it started as a neat idea from Guitar. I simply took the ball and ran because I'm so cute and hilarious. I never intended and never thought fascism would ever be uttered here in response to my posts. No one should be mad at Joe for slapping my hand, simply put I deserved it. It's be no different than taking candy into a movie theater. This is his site and how he lives. I fucked with his livelihood and deserved the changes.
Not withstanding, look at the passion you guys are bringing. We are fired up about something.

I remember watching Nebraska-Colorado in 1999 on Black Friday. Of course I was fully vested that year since we were in a dogfight with them in the BCS standings, but I remember it being a great football day. I'm ok with this.
