Maryland also dropped all kinds of games while they were dealing with those injuries. They got a couple people back and did a decent job toward the end of the year. We lost people at the end of the year when it hurts the most.

Ignoring the fact that you have twice avoided naming anyone else that could possibly compete with his level of shit storm, which is probably because there is no one else remotely close to Marcus' level, let's focus on your attempt at avoidance... er... I mean, question.
When I "used the phrase Hokie" I was in fact, at that moment, speaking only of football players who are Hokies. As this is a football-first Hokie sports blog (if not directly than indirectly so) and the fact that Marcus was a in fact only a football player while at VT and that I had only mentioned football related misdeeds in regards to "on the field" transgressions it would therefore be safe to infer that I was indeed speaking only of football players.
Now for the third time. Please name one single Hokie football player who is worse or even comparable to Marcus Vick? Take out all the subjectivity and go on fact alone if you like. Criminal and non criminal off-the-field misdeeds combined with on-the-field transgressions combined with him being such a let down in terms of a football career at VT.
Now it's your turn. Name one other person.

Do you follow Mike Farrell on Twitter? Because if you did, you'd see that he does predictions, and he started out 0-4 yesterday during the UA Game. We have covered this a million times, but the recruiting sites are both a blessing and a curse: They provide greater access to recruits and coaches than ever before, but they are still a business and are racing to catch eyes and increase readership. We should all take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt, regardless of the source, until signing day.
In the end, I think we can all agree on the fact that Harrison is a must get and the staff will have to work their tails off to make sure he ends up in Blacksburg.
Yea he was a R/freshman. But he has missed most of the season from what I gathered with injuries or either he was playing hurt a lot. They said he was finally healthy for the game last night and really showed out. I just hope Ford being here early will help get him on the field faster.
I think the bigger issue, on top of what he did, is his visibility doing it. Really, the only person that would pass him on the list of "worst Hokies" is the coward whose name doesn't deserve to be mentioned on this Earth who pulled the trigger on April 16th. Apart from that whackjob, no one else has done more to give Virginia Tech a bad name than Marcus Vick, and I'd say said coward is removed from the conversation based on the fact that he/she/it is no longer considered a Hokie.

Once again, "only" winning 7-8 games during a "down" year isn't bad at all. I hate losing as much as the next guy, and yes, sometimes I let football scores influence my emotional well-being. Still, things could have been much, MUCH worse the last couple years. Ask UVA. Happily, unlike for our Neighbors to the North, things legitimately appear to be looking up for VT. Let's hope for a good spring to get us started in 2014.

The other thing you've failed to mention is that you're talking about a football player. You are naming a single football player as the worst Hokie ever. But I believe the term Hokie covers a broad base. For instance, when you use the phrase Hokie, are you referring specifically and exclusively to atheletics? If that is the case wouldn't Hokie cover the ENTIRE and ALL atheletic programs?
LOLuva beating UCLA might be reason enough for them to keep around Time Cop....so would it really be all that bad?
I admit I submitted both FACT and my OPINION. As I said, by factual evidence alone he is a top contender to be the worst. Add that to my subjective opinion then he is by far the worst.
However, as you are a "snowflakes are not all different because I haven't seen ALL SNOWFLAKES" type of person, let's turn this around. Name 1 other Hokie that you feel could be classified as the "worst".
I like the idea but I'd rather he be a LB that doesn't pinball off of opposing QB's.
