Gotcha. Makes sense. Like I said, I was probably just focusing on that one sentence a little too much. I do want to say that I think you hit it right on the head with this one:
The coaches have to start LT assuming GoodLT will show up instead of BadLT. They're putting themselves in a bit of a conundrum though by risking the appearance of BadLT. What would happen to LT's psyche if he's benched in favor of Leal during a game? Would that disrupt his confidence enough that we may not see GoodLT again for the rest of the season? Is it worth the risk?
I think we didn't see Leal Saturday because the coaches didn't want to start any type of controversy and don't want Logan to be more in his head than he already is. I agree with you all the way on that and I don't know if it would have been worth the risk either which is why I haven't been a Leal guy this whole time. However, like I said if bad Logan shows up this week and doesn't get it right, then at that point, I think it may be worth the risk. We'll see though. I know good Logan is in there and I hope he shows up Saturday.
Bacon, without a doubt
HOKIE Joker - have your thought of passing the baton to the next HJ?
Run a CL ad or something. The Hokie Joker must live on! ..
Send out a bat signal with a VT on it ... SOMETHING! ~8)
On your last sentence, I know how you feel. Just want to punch someone in the neck for it.
get Andy to wear an earpiece while chatting with the coaches with French outside in a windowless van?
While I don't know about real life, he is a MONSTER of a ROLB in NCAA '14. He's making plays all over the field for me.
Guys, I've finally digested the loss, ..and I'm finally ok. I'm already looking forward to Boston College this week. Ready for some football, ...lets makes things right Hokies!!!!!!!
I hate you for bringing up Miami of Ohio. Freshman year, so sad...
...a smiling Aaron Rodgers...ugh...
I think what's going on here is everyone got so used to blaming Stinespring (myself included) that when we lose we want another coach to blame. Since we can't blame Stinespring people are blaming Loeffler. But come on, it was one game. He put us in position to win that game. Did I disagree with some play calls? Yes, just about every end around to JC is stupid. But we still had our chances to win that game multiple times and the players blew it. DJ Coles not getting set in time, Logan throwing a pick on the next play, Journell missing 2 field goals. Logan throwing 3 more interceptions. The opportunities were there, we just didn't execute. This offense isn't going to turn into a 30+ point offense in one season, that'd be a ridiculous expectation. There has been some improvement.
It's a shame it took this last game to get rid of them
Indeed. It was just the best picture of a bacon-cake combo that I could find that represented my initial reaction to the thread of, "why not both?"
While that looks amazing, I don't think I can get behind the question posed in this image.
I do not disagree with Loeffler. He is doing the best he can. My point is that he talked about sizably improving the offensive effort earlier in the season; that talk is gone. Telling guys to stop making mistakes is obvious. His signal now is that they have gone as far as they can go with this talent-pool and it is just going to be a nitty-gritty slog on offense for the rest of the season.
Griffer, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You may want to find a friend and lay low for a couple of weeks because you're probably wanted for murder.
Can I vote for both? Though I eat bacon much more often.
turkey leg!

How can birthday cake even be considered when we're talking about bacon?
Even more impressive than the photobomb by Dadi is that he's down field following the play YET AGAIN. If he keeps learning he could leave as one of the best DEs to ever play at Tech. He has that kind of potential and motor.
Yeah, he has Corey Moore playmaker ability.
Like everyone else here I was disappointed (to put it mildly) after the game. But here is what really worries me, assuming (yeah, yeah, assuming, I know) that for job security and general 'that is their job sort of thing', the coaches want to win every game so they put in the best players at each position, what does that say about our back-ups. Specifically I am talking about Quarterback position. I am not calling for Thomas to be replaced, hell, I have supported him since he started playing. To me he gives everything he has every time he steps on the field, I'm just wondering if he is the best we have, what happens when he leaves? I believe it was Tyrod that was pulled off his redshirt year because of the underperformance of the current Quarterback and put in to help the team. Does that mean we don't have that type of quarterback waiting in the wings now, if not then next year is going to be painful.
BACON!!!

I like makin bacon, and making bacon.
