Pretty close, but they didn't give Stanford the credit I thought they would for beating a top ten team. Although I can agree undefeateds should be higher.

Easy: SEC bias and non-AQ bias. NIU looks solid, but their schedule is really weak.

Still don't see how LSU and aTm didn't drop further. Or how NIU didn't move even though Lynch went beast mode this weekend.

I'm a little surprised at how we're ranked too. I think the 16/19 rank is fitting, but I would have expected 16 in the Coaches' and 19 in the AP. I would expect the coaches to appreciate the hard-nosed style we have with the D dominating, and the media to hold us back a bit based on the lack of "style" in the wins.

Wisconsin is #3 on my list of intentional less credit, behind Ohio St and Mich. Top 3 all definitely from B1G though.

I must also say I love not seeing noise state ranked these days

I've seen the BCS computer average this morning..the Hokies are rated 11.6667 which isn't bad at all.

You know though, really I'd way rather have a real rival than an assclown...

At the same time though...

:D UVa is so bad at football :D :D :D :D

Serves them right.

Can't wait. Also can't wait to see where Miami ends up

Only if Reid and Williams come in and totally upend the depth chart. Otherwise, I see no reason to remove our best current RB from the equation. Edmunds is physical and strong (good in pass protection/blitz pickup), but I'm not sure the running game can survive without him, unless, as I said, someone comes in and blows everyone away.

Definitely. The fact that GT dropped 56 on Cuse really helped us, too.

VT #2 in total defense. We've went up against the #5(Alabama),#10(Marshall),#13(GT),and #20(East Carolina) total defenses so far. Miami is #18 and Maryland is #25 in total defense. So our schedule has been tougher than most think. As a matter of fact Jeff Sagarin has our SOS #37. So we've earned our ranking and our record.

Yea, there's not really a huge gulf between any of the teams from about 7-15, so to me it's a toss-up. I am still surprised that Clemson stayed in the top-10.
