I was just having this conversation with someone. I am absolutely SICK of the SEC bias
A word problem for poll voters:
"Team A starts the season ranked.
Unranked team B beats team A.
What happens?"
Correct answer:
"If they're both SEC teams, drop team A 3 spots, rank team B one spot above team A. Otherwise, team A falls out."
Not so fast my friends, aren't we the best one loss team in the nation?!!!!! I do declare, I say I say ain't that right boy?
Defense.

if it were any other conference, secspn would be going on and on about what an indictment it is of the conference. but no, now it shows the mind boggling depth of god's conference.
+1 for Charleston River Dogs. I do prefer the Stingrays games myself...better weather...and a championship or two helps!
1. FSU
2. Oregon

8. Stanford
9. Clemson

if your talking about keeping hbc, then I'd say the $11million in severance fees would be more important to the school than 2 players. And for offering timecop such a huge contract so early I'd have to simply state once more: loluva
^yes.
Thank you for saving my butt on occasion.
Much appreciated.

WU-TANG!
When Oregon beats a "Clemson-esque" pac12 team in a dominant fashion similar that FSU stomping then I'll suggest otherwise, but FSU belongs at #2 at the moment. Also, Horse, I agree with you on most of your top ten, but I don't think you're giving Wisconsin enough credit when looking at OSU's light (that I do agree on) schedule. And I have Miami & Baylor lower but they may rocket up in the next couple weeks once they're tested so they'll have that chance soon.
The American Dream. Do a shitty job and get paid millions.
Hear, hear.
You gotta understand that Winston had a clean pocket to throw in last night. He wouldn't have that at all with us and everyone here knows that. Our Dline would give fsu all kinds of problems. But I do see Winston making plays on the run, so the Cb's will have to cover longer then they should at times. I think they would try to exploit Bonner tho with their TE whos a beast. And another thing guys is if we play them it will be in the ACC title game if we make it there. It will be in charlotte and great chance it will be cold lol That is a huge advantage for us
Duke Johnson reminds me of Clinton Portis because of this. Really tough runner with vision and speed, and always plays so hard he ends up hurting himself. But the kid is a talent, for sure.
The shirtless guy behind Palmer that made the entire set crack up made my day. Some good signs, but the sloppy shirtless guy was epic.
The Seminole Indian Nation has given Florida State permission to use their name as the mascot.
Guys!!! guys..!!!
Look at the rest of LOLuva's schedule..
GT, CLEM, UNC, MIA and US!!
Now I don't want to get ahead of myself... but...but...
They just might lose out, guys. We might get to see loluva go 2-10 and keep their coach!! I get giddy just thinking about it!!!!
Of the list you mention, I think there is only one or two that actually holds their football program to the same academic standards of the general student population. Don't get me wrong, I fully agree with you, but Michigan is a great school and, well, I don't exactly think Mario Manningham was a scholar.
I think Wake, Stanford, Duke, and NW'ern are probably the ones that don't bend too much for athletes. The rest, I think, just want you to be good at SOMETHING, and for many of them, football is that thing.
Very true. The fact that they were up 20-0 on us last year before the rally, and the fact that in 2011 we only beat them 14-10, is reason enough to stay focused on them. We have a challenging stretch coming up here.
It's also hard to win with upperclassmen when YOU RUN THEM ALL OUT OF THE PROGRAM BY TIME THEY GET THAT OLD

NIU's QB Jordan Lynch had 316 yards and 3 TDs...rushing. Crazy.
I worry a lot more about losing to Duke than UVA. Duke almost always plays us close (or we play down to them)!

Cake.
Cake would be defense, right? Because it's clearly the better option.
