So I have to confess. I dont know how to make the gifs. Just how to embed them. But that, sir, is an excellent suggestion

Texas won the NCAAs in Baseball Basketball and football in a years span. they're definitely part of that company.

If he can be effective in dropping into a zone from the Whip, the sheer threat of him on the field opens up so many other options.

Great analysis and great article! Whether you love him or not, we are going to miss Logan next year. I can't wait for the rest of this season as he keeps shutting his critics up with nothing more than a smile.

Perhaps it could read. This is ICE CREAM! *kicks emissary into a giant vat of B&J's chubby hubby

I am still not quite convinced about how good Miami's offense is. Florida (who is the only good defense they have played so far) contained Johnson but their offense gift wrapped turnover after turnover and the U took advantage of the short field. The Hokies handled Alabama's zone plays, and I think Yeldon is very comparable to Johnson. And, don't be shocked if you see Dadi playing some whip versus Miami.

Going to try to bring some of my BBQ team's award winning pork. Just need a way to heat it up!

Much like Loeffler, I think you need a multiple approach. Tried that with my daughter and she was more than happy to piss all over the floor. The thing that worked for us was using the shower as the clean up after accidents. She hated the shower so it got the message across.

Just talking about being ranked #1 at some point in the year...
I know Ohios State, Texas, OK and Michigan are a yes since 1980. So are UCLA and Bama (ranked #1 for 1 week in the late 80's I believe in basketball.)

We be inclined to believe ND is a yes. The others not sure...along with WVU?

When I looked at the raw data, almost all of Logan's interceptions were rated as 'out of reach' throws.
Now, whether they were out of reach because Logan mis-threw the ball versus the receiver not being in the right place or not adjusting appropriately is debatable.

Definitely not Clemson, Bama, FSU, Syracuse, Stanford, UCLA, Notre Dame, and Michigan State...possible on Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, and Oklahoma

I'm a married college student with four jobs. I'll relax when I graduate (with a resume that stands out) and am finally able to just work one.

That being said, thank you for reading.

A running game takes athleticism out of it to a point and makes fitness come into play. You can coach fitness, you can't coach natural talent. So it gives us a chance in my opinion.

I am just going to call it like I see it. I would rather play FSU over Clemson every year, because of the style of offense each team plays. FSU plays a pro-style offense: 6 to 7 across the line, QB under center or in the pocket, 1 or 2 backs in the back field executing power run, 1 to 3 WR. This plays more into Bud Foster's favor where he can play containment defense, forcing all runs to the middle; stacking the box, squeezing the pocket, his CB play Man, while Safeties, LBs, and the DL blitz the QB all day until he is questioning the reason for living . Great match-ups.

I feel the spread seems to give a Bud Foster D more fitts. Especially with a mobile QB (see Marshall vs. Alabama). You go 5 on the line with 4 to 5 out wide, and maybe 1 running back and a mobile QB. Foster's Gap Defense has a lot of wide gaps to contain. Everything is quick, the DL loses its advantage over an offense that is designed to get rid of the football in a lot of wide open space. It ends up being athlete vs. athlete, and the secondary is always tempted to keeping an extra eye (they don't have) on the QB sometimes giving up coverage.

Not saying Bud isn't good at defending this. Just saying it isn't the best set-up. Last year VT limited Clemson to fewer offensive yards than most. So we know he can handle it. Clemson capitalized on great field position too. I feel a Lunch-Pail Defense shines brightest gainst a more pro-style offense. Where Foster can squeeze the life out of an opponent. That is my two cents.
