Welcome.
Plus one for first post, but disagree about the barbecue.
(Maybe I haven't had the right one, though.)

1. Pork
2. Vinegar barbecue. (Is there really anything else?)
3. Cake=Pie=cookies. (Not really necessary after my stomach is filled. See #1,#2 above.)
4. Beer.
5. No opinion. (Carbon dating myself. The last meal I had at Owens was pre-quality on-campus food revolution.)
6. Breakfast. Yes, please.

Remember Arnold's? Maybe Macado's. I used to work at Backstreets....good pizza there.

1. PULLED PORK OR GTFO

2. #teamvinegarsauce

3. Pie because pecans

4. Dos Equis

5. West End pasta is the tits

6. Beer for breakfast (definitely not a breakfast tailgater)

Calzones at The Cellar are the best because it's basically three of them in one serving. Plus get there for Hammertime, then you're fat and drunk.

Barbeque
1. Meat: brisket / beef
2. Sauce: mustard

Dessert
3. Pie. all day every day

Beverages
4. Arnold Palmer

On campus
5. Turner - I know all you alumni havent experienced it but it wins

Tailgating
6. Breakfast

And, finally, what's your favorite restaurant off campus?
Macados

1. Pork
2. Tomato (Memphis all the way, can't help family roots)
3. Cookies
4. Bourbon
5. West End
6. Non-breakfast (can always eat a brat)
7. BW3's. I remember when they used to have .25 cent wing tuesdays

P.S. First post. Happy to be here.

I believe Tremaine Edmunds and Jay Payton could have been there too. Payton is a key 2014 prospect if I'm not mistaken.

I didn't envy Bruce with how that cameraman stayed on him up close for so long. At least he didn't drop a GTFOutta here already. Its not like they were interviewing him so get your shot to coincide with the broadcaster making his comment and move on.

1. Chicken with bacon
2. Tomatospicymustard
3. Cake
4. Bourbon
5. West End
6. Non-breakfast (Brats for days)

El Rodeo - Large portions of food and tequila

I thought if anybody Kyle would have made it. Facyson was a nice surprise but if I had to guess one player they would have picked I thought it would have been Kyle. Not that Facyson isn't deserving too.

Its not your mock anger I'm worried about, its the other hundred TKP readers that'll downvote me for being a douche!

It's quite possible some of these guys may not have the confidence they'd get any playing time.
If they come around and get some confidence their senior year and realize they'd be able to actually get on the field, maybe they change their mind.
Thinking you may not be good enough to actually play for a Bud Foster, would be an easy thing to do.

Timecop's sell might be "Hey, at VT, you'd never get any playing time. I'm telling you right now. Here, you'd get on the field Freshman year and we'd just have a good time playing DIV I football."

Wondering if French or/and Mason can do analysis on the FSU/Clemson Game this weekend. Since it's a BYE week and in all likelyhood the Coastal Division Champ will be facing one these teams for the ACCCG. Right now the Hokie football team is in control of its own destany. We have Duke, BC (played great against Clemson), Miami (toughest opponent), MD (lets not get surprized in this one), LOLUVA (for the Decade of Dominance). It could be us. Realistically, it could not be us.

Thought this would be the appropriate place to make this request.

Thanks, I did.
Tried to upvote and downvote the same post (which isn't possible) but I gave VTrumpet other upvotes all around the site.

I can live with the turkey track ones, but the oversized maroon turkey that looked like a stain on the helmet was awful, just terrible. I did like the Hokie Stone too.

But nothing beats a classic. The All Maroon uni's were worn when we beatdown Miami in 2003 and they looked fantastic.

1. Pork
2. Tomato
3. Pie and cookies
4. Rum and beer (not at the same time)
5. Browens
6. Breakfast/non-breakfast, doesn't matter
Off campus - Souvlaki or SS II

Don't worry about it, I guess the "mock" part of my mock anger didn't come through. I upvoted you, I understand it was all in good taste

I don't think that's entirely fair. I think Edmunds (Alabama game this year), Coleman (Duke last year), and Knowles have shown they have the speed to take it to the house if they get past the defense. Admittedly, these guys seem to have a lot more trouble making people miss and getting into the open field than some of our offensive skill players have in the past, but I still think there are some high quality athletes on the offensive side of the ball. These types of guys are all freshman or sophomores, so hopefully they will continue to develop and get to that level where they can take a moderate gain and make it a big play.

So...how long will it take the fans to make it back to the Holiday Inn after the game??? That's A LOT of people!!! I may be sleeping in the car!
