haha, i realized it at the spring game a couple of years ago. we're tailgating with my buddy's 8 year old son and his little cousin next to a group of students who are shotgunning beers and slamming them on the concrete while yelling "THATS HOW YOU FUCKIN DO IT!" and whatnot and i was like, "hmm we're old."
Are you kidding me?... I chose to go to last week's game because I figured this one would be a nooner too... I hate myself.

I'm pretty sure Wayne Ward also had a rather crushing hit during punt return in a game against Syracuse up at the Carrier dome once that was better than the one against WVU. I seem to remember an article saying he earned the nickname "Hospital" Ward after his Syracuse hit. Wish I could find a clip of it, but I remember that Syracuse gunner seeming like he grew wings because he flew so high and far after Ward hit him.

Wards hit by far. You could see if forming from about 15 yards away when Andre is tracking to his right. Then the whole stadium held there breath as they waited for it to actually happen. Then BOOOOOOOM! The stadium went absolutely crazy. I think the fact that Davis takes it to the house becomes an afterthought because the hit was so nasty.

I really, really don't buy that talent argument.
I think we've thrown a complicated system at our offense and they are pulling in together in bits and pieces. It will all come together soon enough, but I don't see a lack of talent. I see guys being hesitant and not playing as a unit.
