Truly enjoying seeing ECU put a beat-down on the Squeals. Not only does it validate our victory, it also just makes the Squeals realize that they are nowhere near the best team in their own state, unlike VT. Hopefully VT wins all 4 games vs NC opponents and reaps some recruiting benefits from it as well.

I still don't see how that is a touchback. I thought the rule was if the ball or any part of the body touched the goal line, not just that it went over in the air.

Apparently, Tech has just offered Darrin Kirkland, Jr., a current teammate of LB Brandon Lee. Kirkland is 6'2", 215, and plays outside linebacker for Lawrence Central in Indianapolis, IN.
Win or lose, OKST must lose their ranking. They are the worst.
It's crazy to think how much I wanted to see Dominique Terrell and Darius Jennings in maroon and orange. Neither one can catch the ball!
Before the season started I predicted we'd be ranked after beating gt to go 4-1 (I was realistically predicting a loss to bama). I got the record part right but I don't know about the rankings since the marshall/ecu struggles hurt us in that aspect. However we looked pretty good, D looked very dominant on national tv against an undefeated team and ecu's blowing unc out so there's a chance.
Some posters have said ranking don't matter and what not. While that's true, I still like to be ranked and see that number next to our name. It doesn't matter to our season since our sole goal at this point is to win the coastal, but it matters for our reputation and the acc's reputation. As a fan, I like being ranked and I hope we are tomorrow. If not tomorrow, we should be next Sunday if we look good again next week.
