We can't let UNCs performance against ECU taint our preparation. ECU played a near perfect game and their offensive skills are polar opposite of ours. I felt better about UNC before ECU worked them.
As usual, great write up. The defense definitely had the better highlights for this game. I think this is going to give them a lot of momentum going into next week.
For the offense, that was my argument in suggesting quick hitting plays. If the running backs in the game are tentative in picking up the blitz, then throw something quick or keep an extra blocker in (FB perhaps) and run a draw. If this isn't an option then Trey is going to need to be healthy so he can be in there on 3rd downs.

I'll be honest, UVA's defense looked fairly good today. However, Pitt's offense isn't anything to write home about. If UVA's defense can't put up points on Pitt they might be in for a LONG season.

Yeah last year is a prime example for the coaches. I think we have the leadership this year to stay hungry week to week. Honestly, I don't think last night was a fluke. I believe Loeffler has either been trolling us, or has had his poker face on. Didn't wanna give too much away.
Actually, I know a ton of Hokies that are also Skins fans. Due in no small part to a huge percentage of our student population/alumni base being from the DMV area.

ECU had 605 yards against UNC. We held them to 204. Wow.

Thanks! I thought OKSt might be a 20-something at best, but they were the highest ranked team in the conference coming into this week which kind of puts the whole overrated thing into perspective.
Welcome to TKP! And I couldn't agree more, the Big 12 is overrated. Oklahoma State is not a top 25 team, I mean they lost to a BAD West Virginia team today.
Well, second set of games off to exciting starts. LSU up 14-7, Clempsum is destroying Wake, BC is ahead of F$U...somehow? And lol at Oklahoma-ND. Though an ND loss may help give us some momentum in possibly being ranked.
