he does need to learn to play under center. it may simply be:
a) he feels more comfortable in the gun (i think i've read as much)
b) in the gun, he has another 1-2 seconds to run through progressions before the oline caves in
which means jack-shit ... marshall's offense is every bit as good in my opinion
I understand French I'm not agreeing with Bleacher report, but this is not just a topic that's unknown or unheard of. We're going to have to face this at some point down the road. When i made this topic I was reflecting on if Beamer would end up like Bowden or Paterno. This topic wasn't created because of the performance against Marshall. I personally feel that he has a good 5 years left in him.
This has happened to players and coaches before in all sports, heck for an example Tom Landry was fired and didn't even get a chance to finish his career or leave on his own terms and he'd brought the Cowboys to a successful franchise. What I'm trying to get at is, in this career of coaching or playing sports loyalty only last but for so long no matter what you've done for a franchise or school. I know a lot of Hokies don't want to believe that, but its reality.

tbh, anytime I see the words "breaking team rules" I assume it means "failed drug test". Applies to all schools and is generally pretty accurate

My section almost erupted into a celebratory orgy when he scooped up that ball and started trucking for the end zone. We had all been talking about Fat Guy Touchdowns as the best thing ever earlier in the game. And for that game to end with Hopkins scoring would have just been perfect. That would have made my 2013 right there.
My perfect version would have been for Hopkins to turn around and block Marshall's RB into the turf and then keep on trucking for the TD.
