what was pissing me off was the qb sneaks If your gonna let the qb run let him get under center. Its common sense

Dabo!? Are you f-king serious!? No! Never! I'd give you Peterson but no. Not Swinney!

Turkey leg for "complete dumpster fire reference" lmao! But seriously calm the f-k down folks. Growing pains hurt (& this season like a mo-effer)!

Chris Peterson at Boise? Maybe Dabo (if Clemson can stay competitive for years to come)?

Just thinking out loud here and haven't really thought about it but in the current state of what have you done for me now college football is there another coach that will be like Beamer/Paterno/Bowden for us to be an example to?

Bud deserves it more than any other human. But Randy Shannon deserved it too. Similar circumstances. Brilliant, long time defensive coordinator gets the job at the school where he's put in time, and in Randy's case the defense didn't get all his attention and the program as a whole suffered. I want Bud to be here forever, and I want him to be the next coach. But I also want him to focus on the defense he's built and apply the expertise he has in that area. I don't know of those things are mutually exclusive or not.

Agreed, Hokie Fashionista. Everything looks better surrounded by maroon.

There's not much to respect from an outside perspective, so you can't blame pundits for not being excited about Hokie football. Besides our defense and punter, we can't really get much worse in a lot of areas. Who's going to pick a team with less than 50% pass completion, more int's than TD passes, more sacks taken that TDs (http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/480239/logan-thomas), receivers that can't catch, a modest running game, and a current streak of missing 6 straight field goal attempts? And most of this has been against teams that we have more talent and better coaching than. Heart and perseverance are great qualities the Hokies possess, but showing that you can score on purpose is a pretty important quality too.

I think I remember hearing/reading that the first kick was missed partially because the snap was late getting down and he had to pause mid motion and then restart.

On a completely different note,I also don't know how Cato and his receivers made some of the plays that they did. There were several plays, especially on third down, where I thought we had great coverage and that there wasn't any way it would be a completion but it still ended up being caught.

Ha, that's what I thought too.

I didn't say Shane would be our next HC - I said Beamer will put in his pitch for it. I am hoping there will be some kind of national search to find the BEST next coach. The only way Bud gets it is loyalty.

I said this when this was first released and I'll say it again. This helmet has potential but the colors of the stone need to be more unified. Gray and white stones are cool, the orange-ish are not. And that seam in the middle of the helmet has to go. If you can't make the helmet look like it's made of a solid wall of stone without unjoined seams, you can't pull this off.

EDIT: And some sort of maroon Hokie emblem in the middle needs to exist. The VT is preferred but the pylon symbol is acceptable, even though we should have had that on the helmets for the Military Appreciation game.

And having the ball bounce, er, slip our way a few times helps a lot too

I seriously think they read this entire site and just tweet answers.

I like you, Shoog, but we definitely have the school colors.

I know, even though I'm only in Central Time I feel like any alcoholic when I walk into a bar right when it opens to watch us kick off at 11 am and the staff almost roll their eyes at us when we enter.

I'm a fan. Still not sure why we are wearing these on the road though since there isn't any Hokie Stone in Atlanta. Maybe because it will be the only game we will play on ESPN after noon this year. sigh
