Shout-out to the huge clusters in the East who stayed, and the Alumni who stuck it out in the West, from where Im standing in the HT's I saw more than a few 50 and 60 year old Hokies standing up trying to pump up those around them in OT.
And of course the Corps was well the Corps, bad things happen when you dont yell hard enough, particularly to Freshmen.
They've also started having us stay through the playing of the Alma Mater, I like it I honestly think it would be nice if all the students did, a good way to end the game as a group, fans, bands, and team for one last recognition of us all being Hokies, and they put the words up on JUMBO-HOKIEVISION so not knowing them is no excuse!
shocked, bewildered, depressed
I will be shocked if UNC and Pitt are both noon games.
his backdoor TD was awesome.
Noon games tend to be given to unfavorable matchups, ie ones that not a lot of people want to watch on TV. Once we start playing better teams noon games will go away. Its not decided by the team or Weaver, but the broadcasting network
I have seats in North Endzone, very top row. Every person around me that left I was obliged to yell at them for leaving. Also, every person that left around me were the people who don't scream their loudest during every down, and would rather "talk" with the person next to them. Unbelievable.
Every person in my group left by mid 3rd quarter, and I was the lone person in my group left. Still had the best time of my life in the rain with the true Hokie fans remaining around me.
Its been mentioned numerous times above, but we were just as loud in overtime as we would have been with those who left.
ManBearPig on a treadmill?
good read...like the Leal Truthers bit
the east looked fine to me but the north and south definitely had some missing spots
I stayed away from that thread. My 2003 single-processor low-memory desktop computer wouldn't have been able to handle it. Plus, it would have taken more effort to read that thread than it would to watch the actual game.
Bravo, gents. Turkey legs all around.
Thank you for summarizing my argument
Only the best LB to ever play. Maybe I am getting too old. There cannot be another LT because there's only 1.
The announcers for that game were top notch...
Done thank you sir
You guys saying Logan should move to TE, you do realize that a lot goes into knowing how to play tight end. If you think our receivers are bad now, what about someone who has never played there before?
I made that same comment in the game thread (now buried by a thousand others!) but I haven't gone back to look at it. To me, it looked like he had one foot in front of the line, but as was pointed out in the thread, you only have to have some part of your body (in this case, probably his back foot) behind the line for it to be legal. Based on the unofficial digital lines, I thought he was over, but maybe ESPN's line was off. It's happened before. In any case, they got him for that later, so it still raises doubt in my mind.
I hope the others are great too- NEXT YEAR...
This team is in place. deal.
EVERY HOKIE QB on scholarship in the past 15+ years
has had outstanding POTENTIAL (like Hodges and Ford)
Few ever realize it at the college level. Lets hope they do-
but for now lets support and ENJOY Logan for the rest of the season!!!!
Well, 3-3 for my first time ain't bad, I'll take it.
Still can't believe how far off I was on the MSU-ND and Devils-Trees games...
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
"Blah! We performed poorly on offense! Fire the coordinator! Bench the qb! Someone must pay!" <- a good chunk of the fanbase, sometimes.
"A HORSE on a treadmill divided cannot stand!"
Logan detractors are in the vast minority.
They've sold alot of #3 jerseys. He is our guy.
Keep Going. Beat GT.
GO HOKIES!
got it
I came back for undergrad 2.0 starting this fall. I highly recommend it, if you can find an employer in the NRV willing to pay for it.

Which is what he appeared to do after the play anyway...
