I actually have a bit of a soft spot for the Herd. Spent a summer semester there. Learned about Pennington, Moss & Leftwich (whom they felt was there MV7). It was also where I was first introduced to the term "Mountainqueers". Gotta respect somebody that hates wvu. I always felt that they should have been one of the teams to step in for us when we left the big lEast.
Correct!
Actually, they have bent back the fullback against back side pursuit a bunch, mostly against WCU. ECU ran a 3-4, meaning the DE's cover the tackles, so Rogers would kick out the OLB. But, if McLaughlin can't scoop the DE or drive him across the cutback lane, Rogers block is pretty meaningless.
Expect him to be blocking the back side DE's this week, and if he is successful it will look similar to a trap block.
Pffft nothing like walking back from a party in terrace view, when they shut down the BT for ice (sleeting). Wearing shorts and for some reason we went to DX too.
I am not a smart man....
excuse me while I step on my soapbox for a moment...
if I had let the 0-16 loss to Cincinnati that I witnessed as a student discourage me, resulting in an 0-2 start, I would have missed our first victory ever over Miami the following week.
And kicking Texas' ass would have not felt as sweet when I was down there in NOLA later that year. I worked 2 jobs over Christmas break to pay for that trip and we slept 8 in a room.
ok my old timer moment is done.
Let's hope Stroman can reel him in.
Hell, you remember Tyrod to Logan during the Wake game in 2010? His hands and his ups were mindblowing.
These were funny, but you just can't beat the comedic value of the first East/West bowl. Truly a classic along with "Substitute Teacher"
He is probably regretting not picking Tech now.
I polytech very hard, I'm just saying that at least they're giving the tickets away so more people will come. Maybe some of those people will end up getting into tech football and buy tickets next year. I'm not saying it's perfect, but at least the ticket office is doing something for the time being.

Tajh Boyd is fat and nothing is funnier than seeing him on a park bench, by himself, eating a sandwich
Sorry, I don't have the money for that. I'd rather buy booze than donuts.
those were the days.
We eventually graduated to an opened refrigerator box (not sure where we got it), stacking 15 of us in a giant mass in motion down the hill by Foxridge.
Yeah, it does. Up here in Big Ten country, I suggested after the scandal that PSU join the ACC because they were being treated like a second class citizen by the Big Ten. The response I heard was that the Big Ten's grant of rights would prevent it (it wouldn't stop the school from changing conferences, but it would make them unappealing to other conferences, read on).
I'm not a lawyer and haven't read the agreement, but if I understand correctly the schools have signed away their rights for broadcasting the games to the conference. So even if, say, FSU jumped to the Big 12, the ACC still holds the rights to their games and therefore would be the owner of any fees generated by broadcasting those games. Wouldn't matter what conference they'd be in, the ACC still gets the money. Naturally, this would make FSU worthless to the Big 12.
Well, not entirely. FSU playing at Big 12 schools would likely fall under the home team's conference broadcast affiliation, so getting FSU to play all the Big 12 teams at their places would mean those games would probably have larger audiences (think ND at BC, the ACC has the rights to that game, but any game at ND is ND's/NBC's), but any game in the Doak would pay the ACC. I don't even think the ACC would have to pay FSU for their games, since FSU isn't in the ACC anymore. Not sure about this part, though.
TL;DR: No one is going anywhere. Doesn't matter what happens with the MD lawsuit. MD left before the grant of rights took effect, though, so they're not under it. They were voted into the exit fee, though, so they should have to pay.
Thanks French, glad to hear your optimism.
Do you think JC would have had more success on the edge against the strong-side OL and Safety?
If you don't start your day with Carol Lee's at least once a week.
No problems here. Baxter is my buddy. I'm his biggest fan. Who am I going to run around the farm with if he doesn't strengthen that leg? Hmmm?
Or used headphones to avoid the Homecoming groups.
Haven't answered a fake phone call across the drillfield to avoid the students and organizations handing out flyers.
Cadets vs Pritchard 1995 was epic.
Wait! They do have a "Fuller"(near bottom left) She looks like a player.
Don't forget we were all in on Kevin Newsome that year but could never sway the right people to make that happen.
That "for the Corps" excuse is the best. My freshmen year, certain unnamed cadets may or may not have cemented a gargoyle to the roof of War Memorial Gym. Before it was taken to the roof, these cadets were stopped and asked by VTPD why they were carrying around a gargoyle at 1130 at night (some twatty RA saw it and thought it was stolen). The cadets' response was "it's a Corps thing, you really don't wanna know," to which the officer responded, "you're damn right I don't! You guys have a good night."

Hummina, hummina, hummina...boner.
