I disagree. I normally don't care if an athlete gets in trouble as long as they aren't harming other people. I might make fun of Vick, Plaxico, Pac-Man, etc. But I don't care one way or another about their crimes. It's just funny how stupid all of these guys are.
More allegations came out today against Hernandez, and I think the question just became no contest. Hernandez has allegedly played a crucial part of two drive-by shootings last year. While what Vick did was reprehensible and inhumane, but what Hernandez's story is piling up to be is unprecedented for an NFL star.
I followed the link to the sabre joe supplied above yesterday, and just kind of perused their site....I had a HUGE rush of appreciation for what our TKP staff has created here. This site is so far ahead of what they've got going on, words can't describe the gap. Not just in quality of conversation, but fan decorum, and technical site setup (I mean, geesh, you can't hardly follow a conversation on their site!). I don't know what kind of award I can nominate TKP for, but you guys deserve one!

I don't understand the coach going from OU to AU, they weren't far off in rankings and OU usually has some pretty good talent, just look at their top two starters this year. I didn't think Pete would go anywhere for a while but I understand taking a crack with a team like OU.

I think it was when we played at UNC in 2008, they showed that video and their fans booed Duke while we booed UVA. It was great
Ha, that was awesome. I remember hearing some girl nearby ask, "Really? We're booing a little kid?" I said, "He's wearing blue and orange in Lane Stadium. He gets booed."
Most people will say Hernandez but when it really comes down to their deep thoughts on the matter I would assume the majority will still hate Vick more. Both are horrific situations and shouldn't be taken lightly but the Vick hate that still exists is so annoying.
Yup, left for Auburn. But from what I've read people at OU really didn't like him. There's a weird story on him refusing to let his nephew transfer.
He will be missed, but best wishes to Pete Hughes. Hopefully #HokieBall continues to trend upwards.
