Not arguing that at all.. We should ALWAYS wear maroon against UVA/Clemson/Syracuse. I'm just saying.. Orange / White would be good when and if we played teams like Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida State, Boston College, or anyone else that has a maroon/garnet/whatever color. Orange isn't always bad, IMO.
I didn't realize being 20 made me an old fossil! While our colors are maroon and orange, I too am of the opinion that all orange makes us look like other schools (Syracuse and Clemson come to mind for me), and besides when you share a common color with your rival, you should really try to make the color you don't share with them your primary color, especially when you play them.

Honestly this felt like we just lost a close game as the clock expired that we coulda shoulda won. It has that sick stomach feeling. Am I the only one that feels this way???

Can't pin it on one person. Alabama is modern college football dynasty, Florida's won two national championships of their own in the BCS era, and Michigan (a team we just lost to) is quite arguably the most historical program in college football.

I'll take Nnadi and Brown if Hand is the tradeoff. With those two up front, we won't need a 5* DE (granted we do have some good 4's and 3's coming in there though).

I will too. Let's just hope that's how it happens. I would even go so far to say (and this really isn't post-rationalizing... I swear!) that if I could only have 2 of the 3, I would prefer Brown and Nnadi to Hand based on on-field production and our needs (thin at DT, pretty stacked at DE). However, just from a recruiting momentum/national exposure/perception perspective, losing Hand - the overall #1 in our own backyard - hurts, regardless of on-the-field truths.
Anyway, what's done is done. Put the full press on Brown and Nnadi (and others I'm sure), and see where we end up in February. That is still a LONNNNG way away.
