i agree with Joe, if we can stay in the game then it'll make bama more and more nervous

His tape looks like he is split between Center and Guard so it would be nice to have some versatility there. As French has said on many occasions, we need to recruit more guards.

I credit SC & SC: BW for getting me into PC gaming in the first place.

The Cut-scenes and CGI work are still epic.

i remember asking an eer buddy of mine why bc and miami didnt get the same venom we did after we all jumped ship. he said something along the lines of it being like "your brother smacking you in the face." i was like, "brothers?!? yall sure got a funny way of expressing those feelings!"

and then they left their beloved big east, smh.

Brilliant

Awesome post French.

That missed block by Perez-Means goes to show just how fine the line is between victory and defeat. That run might have gone for a TD with Mangus's speed. Hopefully those Tight Ends keep improving, any victory over Alabama will require a monster game on their part.

#BeatBama

Considering how much I played it as a kid, and in college, it's a sin I didn't include Super Mario 3 on my list. Freshman year, we kept the NES running and beat it straight through a couple of times during finals week. Also, Starcraft Brood War was a poor omission on my part too.

I agree, time of possession, or lack thereof, in 2009 doomed us. Being able to run the ball is crucial, as is avoiding mental mistakes like turnovers (which happened in '09 too). Shortening the game requires us to make the most of every possession.

While I've picked up a loose understanding of most of the terms through all of French's posts, I think we might need a dictionary/terminology page for all of this stuff. One that would explain what a one, three, five and seven technique is as well as what it means when the nose tackle is eagled over the center. Even something to explain the differences between down blocking, crack-back blocking, and other words that those of us who are observers of the game and not former players would not understand. Great post though French. Hopefully someone other than Malleck can step up. Hopefully both McCray and DPM will come along this Fall and make a big impact.

That game was the only reason why I liked math in elementary school. One time my dad brought home a color monitor (we usually had a black&white one) from work and it blew my mind.

Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey 98

It had 3D in the title, that's how awesome it was.
