That's an impressive statistic.
Virginia Tech's Erick Green averaged a D1-best 27.4 PPG in January, the highest Jan. average by an ACC player since J.J. Redick in 2006.— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) February 1, 2013
I will, however, admit...that I laughed.
On second thought, maybe Skip Bayless was onto something when he was ranting about kickers.
*facepalm*
somebody gif/meme this one for me... I'm on my phone.
Here is Jacob Park's 24/7 page and, as VT_Warthog 3 points out, he does in fact now have an offer by VT and Scot Loeffler is his recruiter:

Let's wait and see.
If he finishes as the leading scorer in the country, he'll get his jersey retired.
But we're too bad of a team for him to win any POY awards. It's a great individual season in the midst of a dumpster fire of a team season.
She's sitting at home waiting for the NCAA to rule on her strongly worded letter, aka petition, for Jacory Harris and EJ Manuel to receive a fifth year. Seriously, any ACC team could win a BCS Bowl/BCSNG and she might rate them behind the U and FSU. Even their alums/fan bases are tired of her stage five clinger/stalker-ish love of their schools.
Effortless motion.
My big concern over Carlis Parker and Bucky Hodges is their motion. I'm no QB expert, but there are a lot of moving parts going on in those two guys motion.
You know who everyone likes as a coach? James Johnson.
why I think we may see a change in that philosophy. In watching Auburn, their FB had to hit the hole fast and clear out a (in most cases) LB for a RB who was right on their tail. A slower FB is going to slow the play down, which from what I could tell (I'm no French by any means) is Loeffler's MO. The running backs have to hit the hole fast due to quick opening creases in the line.
my point exactly.
Clemson's defense was 3rd in the ACC, ours was 2nd. Clemson got a B, we got a C. Seems pretty logical Heather...
christ almighty cody, tighten up son!
anyone else see Malcolm Delaneys tweet about deserving to be up in the rafters? classic
Yup, someone had already posted that awhile back though.
and Elijah Hood
You want people on your team that WANT to be here (like this kid), In my opinion. If he has the qualifications/skills, and wants to be a Hokie sign him up. These are the kids that i like because they are gonna give it all for a spot and will push our other players to be better
While I don't fell like laying out points why we should keep the current field goal system. At least we won't have to worry about our kickers pepper spraying entire restuarants if they went away... http://www.collegiatetimes.com/stories/21262/cody-journell-involved-in-p....
Jacob Park has an offer from Virginia Tech.

David Cornwell also has an offer.

Joe, let me know if you need any help with recruiting stuff. I'd be glad to help.
Seems to be a lot of our FBs are former high school LBs that were too short/slow/whatever or guys who should have been a RB but were lower rated.
he is saying he wants us to be relevant enough in recruiting to start stealing players from bama
that is all
As if he is following his coach.
1) Beating Cincinnati with a goal line stand in the Orange Bowl. Beating Brian Kelly was sweet.
2) Beating Tennessee and Lane Kiffin in the Chik-Fil-A Bowl. The look on Kiffin's face when the refs had to call back the UT when Tech called a timeout just prior to halftime. Also probably one of Stinespring rare games where he brilliantly called the plays. Ryan Williams was a beast that night and was completely unstoppable.
3) The Nebraska Comeback. Tyrod to Danny Coale! Then Tyrod's Happy Feet to Dryell Roberts to seal the win. Priceless when Bo Pelini chucked his headset behind him and one of the Nebraska players caught it.
4) The Final Drive. Logan Thomas quarterback sneak for the WIN! Alonzo Tweedy's tackle of Lamar Miller and the field rushing of the Tech's bench to seal the outcome! Boo-yah!
5) My first night game ever at Lane Stadium versus the Bumble Bees on Labor Day.
6) Destroying Miami on a rainy day and watching future NFL tight end, Jimmy Graham drop sure passes that could have gone for first downs, and seeing Randy Shannon's face becoming more pissed at that. That was after Bud ripped his defense for allowing Rex Burkhead to run wild the week before and posting the words on the lockers, "You have a responsibility to continue the tradition at Virginia Tech." Those players were mad and they were led by Jason Worldis.
How about Clemson getting schooled in Beamerball? Probably the last time we saw Tech dominating Clemson in all phases of the game.

Carlis Parker's arm does not impress me. At all.
