Can we please just be able to make in-game adjustments; for the better?

Heres my thought: the offense will initially come out running the basics. Once we get everyone on the same page, building confidence, this sucker will build steam like a Buddha statue rolling downhill on ice. Much like a freight train; slowly building up power till she's full bore and then there's no stopping her. I say by the end of the season we'll be thanking our lucky stars we hired Loeffler...the pieces we have coming back could be magical.

After watching Lance "come clean" I think we need a one-on-one with Oprah and O'Cain. It would go something like this... Oprah: "So Mike, you really didn't expect to be fired after the rough season you had?" O'Cain: "No I did not." Oprah:"Now mike, we agreed to tell the truth...."

His stats quote shows just how out of touch he was. Wish him the best but I'm glad he is gone.

how can he possibly expect not to be fired. he had no clue? it appears to me as though he's trying to show his positive points on his way out so that he can get a job elsewhere

I could watch that clip everyday of the year and it would never get old. To quote Cartman, "Yesss, Let me taste your tears!"

Praise Jesus!! This makes me ecstatic! I hope we get the official news soon, like the article said. And I do hope Mike O'Cain gets a job in the very least. I wish that much for him. At an FCS school in the very least :P

*Insert awesome GIF I can't upload on my phone here*

Try living in WV and dealing with their bullshit everyday. I love bringing up how The Black Diamond Trophy is OURS.

O'cain says he had no idea he was going to be fired but really? I may be a first time poster but even I knew he wasnt going to be on the team next season

But at first glance I thought that was a tattoo, didn't see the chairs haha. Good job. We have a ton of snow in Bristol too.

Let's hope that we see more of this kind of Logan Thomas next season.

Bama fans are great at forgetting past failure. I live here in the state and I know the way they think. It is a little easier for us to continue to acknowledge our shaky history because we have yet to truly capitalize with the talent we have been fortunate enough to put on the field. Bama fans on the other hand, live in the present. For now, they are the best team in the nation and in their minds, its not changing. I hope our team and fans can come in with a mature and realistic attitude towards the sport and respect our history and Bama's history and treat game 1 of the 2013 season like the blank page that it is.

And, if this is the fault of the administrators or the clearinghouse, then they will get an absolute tirade here for screwing with a kid's life.

1995 Sugar Bowl. My first Hokie game. My first bowl game. My first flight.

I was 5.

Hahaha, but seriously, we did beat Texas at that game. And that was fantastic. And I got some cool souvenirs from New Orleans, which I still have. We got stuck in the airport for two days on our way home, but other than that our trip was great.

1998 Music City Bowl was pretty great too. My little brother had just been born and we carted him and all the grandparents to the Opryland Hotel. We had a blast there. The game rocked, too: we #BEATBAMA.

Other games that were great:
Miracle in Morgantown, 1999
Beating Miami to win our first ACC Championship in our Inaugural ACC Season, 2004
Tennessee, Chick fil A Bowl 2009
38-0, 2011

Great ones I witnessed in Lane:
aTm and Miami, 2003
UVA, 2004 our first conference win against them in our first year in the ACC. And UVA was ranked. And it was the glorious beginning of #NINESTRAIGHT.
Nebraska, 2009
GT, 2012 first OT game in Lane Stadium ever. And we won. I just think it's cool to have seen that history. Who knew the season who take such a dive after that??

2010 acc championship game was incredible. was there with my dad got to see tyrod a last win as a hokie, a win and conference title ill always love it. my freshman year was 2004 when we beat wvu my first huge game as a hokie on the rain was amazing. but that 2010 acc title game with my dad in the freezing rain was incredible

On TV- 1999 WVU. By the time that game ended I had about 10 people in my West AJ dorm huddled around my 13 inch TV, my parents called and I got calls, AIMs, ICQs (remember those?) from friends form home.

In person was 1999 Syracuse for mostly petty reasons. I was sitting section 17 not too far from a group of Syracuse fans that kept shouting "Overrated" from about an hour before kick-off until midway through the first quarter. Our section started shouting it back in the 4th quarter before they left.
