As an aside if you are looking for a place to actually engage in halfway decent fans from all levels of college football I really cant recommend the sub enough. There needs to be a larger Hokie contingent, especially to keep the Buckeyes in check!

I am planning to come to the Tech - OSU game and had a ticket question. Right now, tickets are nearly $300 and up on StubHub; which is a bit pricey for me. I plan to see if I can get tickets from OSU but it's hit or miss even as a season ticket holder. I was wondering how easy is it to scalp tickets at the game? What should I watch out for? For example OSYU student tix need to be upgraded to be used bay non-student.

Many of you probably know of Clark Ruhland (@hokie20 on Twitter), and probably know him as a uniform junkie (even self-proclaimed).
After the season ended, he made a post that Nike was going to "modernize" all college teams' uniforms that feature the triple stripe on the shoulder. As we all know, these have been the base uniforms for Tech since the 2010 season, and have been used as at least an alternate since the 2008 season. What he believes this meant was that Tech's triple stripes, along with all the other times with the same stripes (e.g. Iowa State) would end up looking something like LSU's or Ole Miss'.
Saw this on Facebook, I'm sure it's on other platforms that I don't follow as well. These guys get it.
I'm sure most of us are familiar with the story of Kyshoen helping to raise and care for his younger brother. Interestingly enough, the Broncos' beat writer, Andrew Mason, wrote a feature piece on him. As a Hokie-Bronco, I would love if we pick up Kyshoen.

Per a source, Max Warner has been hired at Virginia Tech as an Offensive Quality Control Coordinator.
Warner previously served as the Offensive Coordinator for Tampa, Fla./Hillsborough.
There he won the Roland Acosta Assistant Coach of the Year Award.
Warner coached Virginia Tech quarterback signee Dwayne Lawson in high school.

Interesting article and points made. There are definitely some pluses but I can't see any single conference instituting this without the entire P5 doing it as the same time given the recruiting disadvantage it would put them in.

I stumbled across this today. According to InsideNOVA, former Florida State linebacker (and CD Hylton linebacker) E.J. Levenberry is taking classes at Northern Virginia Community College. He won't decide where to transfer until spring practices shake out.
