Short video that doesn't add a whole lot we haven't already heard, but it does highlight Wells with some very brief practice clips. Pry also talks about Delane and how having more depth at secondary will allow him to stay fresh.
Heavy emphasis on this being not official and coming from sources, but there are apparently TWO inbound bids of $6B ea. Normally I wouldn't care about the sale of a franchise but 1) Snyder needs to be shown the door, and 2) Washington deserves better. Every franchise deserves better than what Snyder has done. It makes me sick that he's going to profit, but I'm happy that this might actually happen and he'll be gone.
TSL's David Cunningham reported out the following pseudo-depth chart from practice this AM.
Offensive ones: OL - Xavier Chaplin, Braelin Moore, Kaden Moore, Jesse Hanson and Parket Clements; QB - Grant Wells; RB - Bhayshul Tuten; TE - Nick Galloβ David Cunningham (@therealdcunna) March 21, 2023
#Hokies have Pro Day this morning. 11 guys are participating, including Chamarri Conner, who was at the NFL combine. The current team is here, too. DT Josh Fuga is carrying the Lunch Pail."It's going to stay in the d-line room or it's going to stay in my hand [this season]."β David Cunningham (@therealdcunna) March 20, 2023
Ali Jennings "was assertive on the field today with the firmness of his routes, and soft hands on various contested catches. He will greatly aid in the development of younger guys in the WR room."
"The receiving corps a lot twitchier, faster," Said (LB Coach) Quinn
We did it! We made it to Spring Ball! I'm going to post the embeds here and I'll update my takeaways from the coordinates this evening when I get a chance to look over their portions of the press conference. For now here's what the head whistle had to say about the staff changes, new faces, and beginning of spring.
HC: Brent Pry
OC/QB: Tyler Bowen
RB: Elijah Brooks
WR: Fontel Mines
TE: Stu Holt
OL: Ron Crook
DL: J.C. Price
DC/ILB: Chris Marve
OLB/NB: Shawn Quinn
CB: Derek Jones
S: Pierson Prioleau
Personally, I think that having the OC being the QB coach is the best situation for success, as there should be a more efficient understanding of what the offense will be trying to do.
Virginia Tech is expected to hire Maryland's Elijah Brooks as running backs coach, sources tell @on3sports.Brooks, a former head coach at high school power DeMatha, has had two of his running backs drafted in the last three NFL drafts.https://t.co/DlIXY6813Vpic.twitter.com/QpMgj8Y0tLβ Matt Zenitz (@mzenitz) March 13, 2023
Been making the rumor mill for a few days. Apparently Rudolph interviewed on Saturday morning, and things progressed from there. https://t.co/UZA6Ou6UOBβ Chris Coleman (@ChrisColemanTSL) February 27, 2023

Figured this was a worthy PSA for anyone still subscribing to The Athletic for VT coverage. As of tomorrow, there won't be any anymore.
I'm not sure what's next for me, but I've thoroughly enjoyed covering the #Hokies these last 11-plus years. I covered Hall of Famers and loads of interesting teams, wrote a book, won a lawsuit (!!) and met some great people along the way.β Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) February 24, 2023
