I thought something was up. I couldn't find them listed with the Spring Game stuff and their site was unreachable last week when I was looking for some new Tech Gear.
Figured there'd be some movement in what was a very full (and remade) WR room. Wright seemed on the cusp last year with sporadic standout practice days, then got hurt. Unofficially, I've got the #Hokies at 86 scholarships now. Obviously more attrition coming. https://t.co/hsBMErun7Aβ Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) April 27, 2023
Hokies great being honored tonight with induction into Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.
Played for the Hokies from 2001-2003. First team All American in 2003. 8th overall pick in 2004 by the Atlanta Falcons. Currently the Carolina Panthers Assistant defensive backs coach.
This might be the most underrated and overlooked uniform that VT has ever worn. Give me maroon and orange versions of this, maybe with more traditional block numbers for our inevitable Pry restyle and I'll be happy.
Virginia Tech transfer RB Keshawn King has announced that he will be transferring to Western Michigan. https://t.co/UdvEmaBeKKβ Sidelines Transfer Portal (@SSN_Portal) April 16, 2023

Initial Thoughts
Pop is the real deal. Future of QB is bright and I hope he travels with the team and is able to play in 4 games this year so we can keep the redshirt.
I'm sure French will break this down further, but all the backs look better this year, especially Chance Black. Coney is a pleasant surprise as well.
Very good to have more depth in the WR room.
Not sure how to feel about the defense yet. It looks like the DBs have better hands because they are actually catching interceptions now. Mose Phillips just might work his way into the rotation this year.

Really sad to see this today, but hopefully he can get the healing he needs! Thanks for everything, Kaleb.
Wow. WR Kaleb Smith, who transferred from the #Hokies to Notre Dame in the winter, is medically retiring from football. He had 1,143 yards and 7 TDs at Virignia Tech, where he began as a walk-on and quickly earned a scholarship. https://t.co/CvDIbw8gTCβ Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) April 15, 2023
The NCAA lifted the official visit restriction of Five Schools for Football. Official visits may now be done to an unlimited number of schools. One visit per school unless a coaching change has occurred between visits.
I think this is a great option for the athletes but will make it a tad harder on recruiting staff's as this likely increases significantly the athletes coming to all campuses.
Solid Verbal dropped a new episode with Andy Bitter, full devoted to reviewing VT's 2022 Season. Nothing ground breaking (especially for people here) but I like seeing/sharing any time 'national media' does a deep dive on VT. Also, Andy Bitter 'walked out' to eight-bit Enter Sandman, so that was cool.
All in all, I think they hit the nail on the head. Here's some solid quotes they used to set the table:
