Pry says Tisdale has a week to week eligibility issue that is being worked on. Is on scout team past week. Blumrick was told by coach to wait until Weekend to say anything about incident. He will have team practice Sunday win or lose to move on to next game.
We restarted our season tickets this year and have decided to start bringing kids one at a time up for their first regular season games. Any advice for Gameday with kids under 12? Where to take them around campus or town. Anything they would really enjoy seeing or doing? During the game any advice to keep them engaged better? Thanks y'all.
In the midst of last night's disappointment, there have been a lot of comments (here, on twitter, etc) that say something to the effect of "Shane Beamer and Mel Tucker won in year 1, why can't we?"
I wanted to take a look at some recent hires, and see if coaches (a) actually are turning programs around quickly, and (b) how bare the cupboard is when they arrive. For each coach, I listed:

Well, this is sure going to be a massive rebuild, but damn that is a crushing loss and one that you just can't take.
I have to say, I really like Pry, but recruiting in year one has been very uninspiring (granted, I don't follow it too closely) and less than ideal when you consider what other coaches in year one have done.
The Goods: King, Hollifield, The defense as a whole, Gallo.
The Bads: Effing Reffing
The Ugly: INTs, the FG attempt that wasn't, the penalties (although I will give them some slack, there, as a young team, and sometimes (Syracuse in '98) where the penalty is beneficial).

One of the main drivers of this College Football Playoff expansion was money. Presidents felt as if they were leaving too much on the table. Monday could end up a powerful motivator for starting prior to 2026.β Pete Thamel (@PeteThamel) September 2, 2022

Has anyone heard yet about away tickets they have applied for? I reached out to the ticketing office a few weeks ago and they said we should know by end of August but I haven't heard anything which means either I didn't get any away tickets OR they're running a bit behind. Wanted to see what others have heard anything!
The season is finally upon us after a long off-season of coaching changes, conference realignments, and being teased with that Nebraska meltdown last week. I for one am really looking forward to starting this weekend by letting the hate flow through me watching the Backyard Brawl. Someone is going to make an ass of themselves (outside of Pat's usual routine) and it is going to be quality entertainment.

There is a great quote from Pry. "One of the things I look at first is this: I want to see guys running by people to get to the football, "Pry said. "No regard for their body." No matter what the outcome of each game this season, the defense playing with great physicality and pursuit will be my barometer of success this season.
Hope everyone had an exciting week 0 I'm sitting comfortably at 1-1 on my bets and I'm back kinda early this week, about to head to my bachelor party for a long weekend in the sportsbook. A few of these lines are still fluctuating quite a bit (UNC is now a dog on some sites (lol), VT -8.5 some places) but this is current as of this morning (8/30) according to oddshark.
I'll take any and all feed back on format, for now I'm listing all ACC games that have odds and a 4-6 other matchups across the country that are intriguing.
