Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

Geeet Hype
Big Ten's Kevin Warren tells @RealSportsHBO he sees Big Ten having 20 members & paying players. "Those (paying players) are things we have to resolve. We have to. So I want to be part of this conversation & will be part of this conversation of what we can do to make this better"— Brett McMurphy (@Brett_McMurphy) August 19, 2022
There's a lot jammed into this one tweet:
Welcome to another year of me trying to find every Hokie on an NFL football contract. I will try to find every roster move in NFL as best I can. As always if you see a roster move please add a comment with it. I will not be doing any CFL or arena league anymore. It's really frustrating and time-consuming feel free to add them in the comments for others if you wish.
I will also add a list of every former Hokies coaching in the NFL.
Looks like the ACC will fall further and further behind on the dollars compared to the SEC/B10 because of our shit deal.
The worst part is that the B10's deal is over BEFORE ours (2030 vs 2036).
There is a new Level Seven Podcast with Roth, Burnop and Billy Hite. It will not disappoint.

He goes into many things of the past and is as straight forward as ever. Definitely holds no punches which makes me even more excited about Pry and supporting this new regime.
Well worth the listen.

According to Virginia Tech's 2022 football media guide, the 2026 contest at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg has been rescheduled and will now be contested seven seasons later on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2033. The game in Provo remains as scheduled, which means the series will now kickoff at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Sept. 14, 2030.
That leaves our future home OOC opponents:
'23 - ODU, Purdue
'24 - Marshall, Rutgers
'25 - Vandy, ODU, JMU
'26 - VMI, ODU
'27 - UMD, Liberty Biberty
#Hokies wide receiver Dallan Wright posted this picture on Instagram this afternoon. Looks like the redshirt sophomore from Saluda, S.C. got out of surgery today. pic.twitter.com/L2Jn9V7sFN— David Cunningham (@therealdcunna) August 16, 2022

3 weeks before the Monarchs face us in the opener and the OC just...quits? That's weird.
This all started from an argument with a co-worker (went to UF) about how the SEC is the best football. My argument was that just because you have the best players doesn't mean it's the best product. Bama and UGA plowing through people doesn't make for entertaining games.
This lead me to the thought of how competitive each conference is within itself. My hypothesis was that the ACC would be as good as any because well we've all dealt with coastal chaos.
This table show just how close and how far apart the games were within each conference from the 2021 season.
ESPN has pulled out of Big Ten media rights negotiations, ending one of the longest sports media relationships in the business. ESPN said no to the conference's final offer of a 7-year/$380 million per-year package, sources tell SBJ. Story to be filed soon.— John Ourand (@Ourand_SBJ) August 9, 2022
Forum to follow Hokies during the season in the NFL or CFL. Game highlights or off field news. Separate Thread for trades and roster.
Thought this was pretty good, Brent Pry has all that media-facing energy that CJF could never muster, and I think that matters nowadays more than ever.
Also liked the facilities tour, they should let Hoke Club members pay to hang out in that lounge, looks like a good time.
This episode dropped today, I have no analysis or highlights as I am currently watching it, but thought you all might want some of the action
Eddie Royal was in town for the ACCNetwork Road Trip. The VT episode airs tomorrow @ 7pm. But today he spoke to the team and has me ready to run through a brick wall. Or a wood wall. Or steel. Idgaf what the wall's made of, I'm running my ass through it.
I'm not crying, you're crying
From Athlon: https://athlonsports.com/college-football/acc-coaches-talk-anonymously-a...
"The program did real damage to itself keeping Justin Fuente for that extra year. Maybe even the last two."
"It's not a stretch to say the offense doesn't have a top-half-of-the-league-level skill player at any position. They haven't signed a single player in the last two years that a high-level ACC program wanted."
Alot of the stuff we've been saying here too.
Some nice footage coming out of practice today!

Nothing groundbreaking, but I thought it was good listen. VT talk is from 39:55 to 47:25
On Brent Pry:
Brent Pry, my boy comes down from Penn state. I love the hire. How could I not? Brent pry is pure masculinity. Dan, from the beard to the hair, to the pants that are apparently a little too tight. The rugged outsider, Very rugged, very outside. There is a mountain man, quality to Brent pry that if you've ever driven the I 81 corridor at Western Virginia it'll play there...
On our outlook for the season:
