# | Hokies DT Norell Pollard Charged with Possession of Marijuana Can't find any more recent numbers, but as of 2017, 22% of American adults (55,000,000) were "current users" of pot (current use being once or twice within the past year), this is not even counting teens. 35,000,000 were considered regular users (once or twice within the past month at the time of the survey).
Breaking it down to people smoking it doesn't make sense, whether you're smoking, eating, vaping any other methods I'm not hip to, you're using pot.
Now, in terms of those in favor of legalizing it, regardless of using it, we're holding steady around 62% as of last year.

His court date is Dec 12. This is a misdemeanor, so no automatic suspension. He is innocent until proven guilty. Do not impose a punishment until he is proven guilty.
