In the CFB arms race, we are Canada.
But at that point, which shows better character: (1) fulfilling a promise just to waste everyone's time or (2) changing your mind honestly and being up front about it? I also don't understand the "initial impulse" thing. We offered him last summer, he committed after a while and visited back in September. This would not have been his first visit and I have certainly seen far worse recruiting processes where the recruit strings the school along.
So if your dream was to go to Med School and you didn't initially get it, and accepted a job after you thought it wouldn't happen. Then you get bumped off the wait list and they offer you admission you think they should turn it down?
I'm sure if OSU offered him before he accepted our offer he would have taken it right away or after a visit.
Because he didn't follow through on his promise after the initial impulse wore off....the very definition of character. I don't think he is bad kid and I understand his choice, but I would have made sure my son fulfilled his promise...assuming the coaches still wanted him to come.
I would one night a wahoo chick and then leave before she wakes up. I would also give her the wrong number.

The hoo's are higher because the athletic department gets a much bigger stipend from the UVA general fund to keep operating normally.
Wow! That is absolutely embarrassing that the Hoos are that much higher than us in terms of revenue. We are DEFINITELY doing a bunch of things wrong. Smfh

No problem, this has happened a lot this weekend. Its tough to find info on these guys and when you do, it is info from when they were still coaching for someone. it takes multiple googles to figure out the situation.
I hope we roll out the red carpet for him when he visit's and make him realize that he is a priority!!
Yeah, and we do have a couple of aces to play as well (we are lookin at you, Coaches Foster and Gray)
It's a knee jerk, I guess. I know better than to follow the rags, especially about things I have less than no control over.
In the end, we will get our revenge on both teams anyways.
I hope when he visits he gets the memo on how important he would be to Tech. At FSU he would just be another defensive tackle, at Tech he would be a legend if he is as good as people think he will be (which I think he will be one of the best D-lineman Tech has ever gotten if he does commit.)
