im curious to see what the line is gonna look like next yr. i think Teller Starts next yr
My bad on McLaughlin - can't fix it, though.
Between the growing up in Norfolk and deciding between Tech and ODU I swear we have the same back story as to how we became hokies. I would've gone to ODU if I didn't get accepted into VT (god am I happy I went to VT and not ODU)
Haha sounds about right. I'm in!
Confidence. In other words, total/random guesses.
So close Hyundai, but it's Sandman , not Sandstorm damn it! The commercial could have been that much more epic.
Yep McLaughin will be a true sophomore.
It will get a lot more attention from the network it already has
Damn, I almost forgot about Brandon. I've known the oldest Royster brother (there are four of them) the last seven or eight years (after Brandon went to Stanford) and give him incessant shit about Evan going out of state. I don't follow up with how lucky he turned out to be since all he would've gotten was a front row seat to watch Ryan MF Williams and Darren Evans...
Kyshoen has a brother with cerebal palsy and his mom works full time as a teacher. So I'm sure Kyshoen has more on his mind, including support for his brother and mother. If he's rated a rd 4-6 draft pick, I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves.
Jonathan McLaughlin will not be a RFr next year as he started every game this year...
Obviously, some attrition will take place by the time Spring Practice starts. For instance -
* At least one senior OL will decide he's had enough and it's time to put his degree to good use
* Goins will probably not return
* One or two OLs may transfer to get playing time somewhere else
* One or two OLs will have to quit because of accumulated injuries
* At least three OLs will have to put on some solid muscle-weight before they can play
* I believe Grimes may want to redshirt ALL of the incoming 2014 OLs.
The remaining OLs will be the guys Grimes will turn into solid performers. I believe we will see some improvement in 2014, but 2015 is the year the Tech Offensive Line will start to become very good.
Am I the only one that really dislikes them?
Verne Lunquist and the whole CBS A-Team will be doing our game, should be first class!
I caught some of the game on tv and from what I saw it looked like Centreville was giving him the "Clowney treatment". And I think it got to Brown. He just looked totally frustrated and out of it.
I went to Centreville, so I watched Andrew Brown in the state finals game. Centreville pushed him around the whole game and he just looked like another player to me.
The Hyundai Sun Bowl better feature our commercial.
Nnadi was thought of to be a uva lean back when lol They said the same about wyatt teller. But honestly i never thought he was going to uva. His father went to tech. And hes been to tech a shit load of times. But hes been honest from day one and said he was gonna take every single visit. Hes been very quiet about his recruitment to
I joined.
Kyle & Kendall on the field together one last time.

Remember, Stanford and Cal ran a pro style system with elite quarterbacks. I am very high on Brett Hundley, but UCLA essentially runs a variation of the same spread option offense that the Hokies have seen variations of for most of the season. Hundley isn't Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck, and UCLA's offensive line is not very good.
I am not saying the Hokies win. But, this isn't the same kind of match up problem that Stanford or Cal presented.
Agreed. VT needs all available Fullers for this game.
Remember Adibi covering Bush and what happened when Adibi got hurt?
I want a clean coach who wants to win and does win, not the nicest guy out there

the drop on Andrew Ford is a relative one. He may have gotten better but some quarterbacks behind him may have gotten that much better.
