What about Shane's feelings?! I wouldn't wish being the head coach at UVA on my worst enemies...

Really, they should have been working Lambert in to games much earlier in the season when it was obvious they were going nowhere and Watford was struggling. While they have a bunch of holes the flaming pile at QB is the biggest one.

Need 5 wins to get above 55%

Which time, the first or second?

I'd venture you're not too far off. Two Super Bowl qbs running the place, I bet it's the P and J show. I laughed thinking about how you portrayed the Welker pickup.

But what about that one time he had a 112 yard touchdown run?

Ford isn't even on campus. The kid dazzles, especially since he's Grimeys boy, he will play.

Are my eyes deceiving me? Just what in the HELL do you think you're doing?

Learning about Cuba! Havin' some food!

You are on dangerous ground here, Mr. Spicoli! This is a major infringement on MY TIME!

Well, I've been thinking about that, Mr. Hand. You see, if you're here AND I'm here, doesn't that make it OUR TIME? Surely there's nothing wrong with a little bit of a feast on my part of OUR time?

If you are looking to use this, I suggest you try in Google Chrome as they are having major issues with Internet Explorer. Great deal if you can get it.

FWIW, Beamer just said on TTL he believes Leal will be the starting QB next year.

You know there is a hint of something in there.

An undersized freshman walk-on FB on a team with an all brand new offensive staff participated materially in 3 effective trick plays the first time they were executed, all in the same half of football.

If peeing you pants is cool... consider me Miles Davis!

Oklahoma State - For all the tostitos
Texas - Mack daddy Brown surprises a lot of folks
Missouri - war eagle runs out of luck
Stanford - #manball
Florida State - Heisman winner but I'm thinking they will have a tough time in the National Title game because....
Michigan State - Sparty defeats the buckeyes and Alabama backdoors to the National title game

Are you assuming that another coach leaves when Beamer retires? I love Shane to special teams, but if Frank is the only one leaving then we wouldn't be able to hire new coaches for DB and RB. I'm assuming that Gray would continue coaching DBs as a coordinator. If we pick up new coaches at any position it would be LB, since that's where Foster currently coaches. Another possibility is that in addition to special teams Shane moves to Coaching somewhere on the defense, either the inside LBs or taking over the Whips and Rovers while Brown moves to the LBs. Since Shane has coached DBs and hybrid LB/Safeties (USC-e's Spur position) at previous coaching stops, it makes a certain sense for him to be coaching Whips and Rovers.

Edit: for some reason I was thinking that Corey Moore was coaching on the D instead of Cornell, fixed it above.
Edit 2: Misidentified USC-e's hybrid LB/Safety position as Star instead of spur, think that was from one of the teams we played earlier this year...Bama maybe? Fixed again

He looks very good on film, I also agree and feel that his best position may be on offense as a wr getting him the ball on quick screens and letting him run with the ball.

I think Shane would be a better coach on the Defensive side of the ball. I would probably have him coaching the Whips since he's coached mostly LBs and DBs at his previous coaching stops and also Coordinating Special Teams. Cornell could either slide over to Mikes and Backers or be a full time assistant D-Line coach. It would also depend on how much Bud would want to stay involved with coaching the LBs.

For reference purposes, Shane's pre-VT coaching experience (not including graduate assistant coaching at GT and UT) is:
3 years coaching Cornerbacks (Miss St 04-05, USC-e 2008)
2 years SS/hybrid LB (USC-e "Spurs" 09-10)
1 year OLB (USC-e 07)
1 year RB (Miss St 06)

Coordinating Experience:
Special Teams: 3 years (USC-e Co-Corordinator 08, 09-10)
Recruiting: 3 years (Miss St 06, USC-e 09-10)
