I'm from Franklin, VA in the SE corner of the state. I graduated High School in 1999 and joined the, back then the Bandwagon of Vick and the Hokies and never got off and never will. Never went to college until now (Online) and joined the Army after high school. In no order I like: Wife/kids, unhealthy amount of bourbon, golf, my job (sometimes it sucks but other times it's better than any drug out there) and living outside my comfort zone.
I just realized the site I used for the national stats ranking doesn't include games against non FBS teams. So they don't include the game against the catamounts, which pretty much messes up the rankings I have above. If you take out that game, then our rankings are as follows (straight from the site):
-28th in nation in scoring defense - 19 points/game (bama game really hurt us here)
-13th in nation in passing defense - 160 yards/game
-20th in nation in rushing defense - 101 yards/game
-8th in nation in total defense - 261 yards/game
-1st in nation in sacks - 17 total, 3.4/game (tied with maryland)
-1st in nation in interceptions - 11 total, 2.2/game
Does anybody know if that's how the top defense and offense stats are ranked at the end of the year, to only include games with FBS schools?

I don't even think it was commencement. I'm pretty sure it was some new freshmen convocation speech. It's an epic speech, but it also highlights how dorky a lot of the GT student body is.
