I can't think of a funny caption, but in Carden's defense, I walked past Bud Foster on College Ave this summer. We briefly made eye contact, and I'm not gonna lie, I had to break it off too. It's intense.

I got a kick out of this smart ass comment.

Other things the NFL should consider while implementing this fine proposal:

- Stadium dress code. Sportcoat needed, tie optional but recommended

- No more beer sales. Only wine. And none of that white zinfandel plonk. Each section gets their own sommelier to help with food pairing recommendations

- Fans who choose to consume a beverage without their pinkies extended from the vessel will be immediately evicted from the stadium

- Halftime will be consist of a high tea with finger sandwiches and crumpets for all spectators

- Every stadium must provide at least three different types of caviar for the enjoyment of the fans.

- Celebrations must be tasteful and dignified else the offending ruffian be evicted from the premises immediately. Celebrations considered vulgar include, but are not limited to, high fives, "whooping" or other loud and undignified noises, chest bumping or other methods of obscene bodily contact, and raising ones hands in the air as if said individual is simply not concerned

I'm looking at my Alma Mater's trip to Lane in a few years as an opportunity to see both of my college teams play live, see another game at Lane at what will probably be a relatively good deal on the secondary market, and hopefully see the Flames learn a lot from their game against the Hokies.

Lang and Bibbs were high priorities for JJ. Of course so was Wade Baldwin and he picked Vandy. Anyone that wants to see the men's team(I know, it's not a lot of people up here) they are practicing at 9am Saturday in Cassell.

I'd agree with you, except it looks like the WR doesn't run off the safety in that play as diagramed above, which would open up Cline on a cross. It just looks to me that it's a read option with a pop pass to the tight end, Logan really looks like he's staring down Cline to me.

At any rate, this is really awesome work. I look at this stuff casually and it takes a lot of time to try and decifer, can't imagine what these guys do to get this stuff posted with a lot of meat in it.

I've set up in the middle of the parking lot before and never had an issue. People just tend to get there early to claim a spot on the grass as those are the best spots. The prices fork lot hasn't been filling up lately so I've seen a good many people setting up tents wherever. As long as you're not taking up a parking spot that someone wants to park in you'll be fine.

It's not a weaver thing thing, it's a police/safety/general respect for other pedestrians/tailgaters, but the way they see it is that you can claim grass space. As long as you aren't directly in the parking lot or flooding onto the sidewalk you are fine.

saw someone go down on a plastic couch one time, dude flew right into the dumpster. pretty sure he got a concussion. saw another dude saran wrap himself and go down the hill. did better then you would expect!

I definitely got a laugh out of it. Much better than the "breaking news" thread...

I just couldn't help it. When I saw the tweet from VT Football about a 12:01 kickoff, my first thought was, "well it's no longer a nooner technically."

I find calling them the Deadskins pretty funny, but I don't really have a specific team I pull for in NFL. I generally just pull for whoever I have playing on my Fantasy teams, former Hokies, and former LU Flames (not very many, Rashad Jennings is the most notable current NFL player).

Location: the unopposed best sledding place on campus described above (no longer exists in its former glory)
Pictured: me during the first snowfall of my freshman year
Not pictured: my chariot (Owens tray), just out of the frame to the right as it had flown out from under me, leaving me with an busted ass for a few days. Worth it.

... if you havent stolen a tray from d2 or owens and gone sledding with it. ( still have three from owens from 11 years ago that we use as tv trays!) That hill that was right behind the practice field used to be great for sledding, you just had to avoid the dumpster at the bottom...

I'm confused by what you're looking at. When looking at that replay (both from the side and behind the QB), I see Logan look at that safety, then stare Cline down. Perhaps, Logan delayed his throw to Cline because Cline didn't run the route he expected, but I don't know how one would suggest that notion.

What I did see, after watching that replay 10 more times, was how open the left side of the field was. Oh, I hope Loeffler sees that and uses one of his RBs to block, then flare left. It is so open, Caleb would still be running with the ball. Instead, in that play, Caleb is standing around, looking for someone to block.
