I agree wholeheartedly. In regards to the last thing, Logan was quoted as saying that O'cainspring would call the play for him, then Logan would look to the sideline to receive either an audible, or a go forward with the call I made. Thus Logan couldn't audible out of a run up the middle if the defense stacked the box unless he looked to O'cainspring and he called an audible...if not, Thomas was at the mercy of his coaches. Sure, he could make reads and such, but sometimes reads aren't enough.
That being said, i don't know how factual that is, but it came from Logan and a lot of other sources...if that is truly the case, that is sad. On the last thing you said, I have said it as well--his ceiling is seemingly infinite, hopefully loeffler has allowed him to see that.

Need some help from bama or get some effort breaks with hard play..try to get an early lead while converting short fields into TD's notepad if field goals. If the Hokies can add a little game pressure while bama is looking ahead to revenge..I'd say we have a great chance.

I've been saying this ever since the movie came out that the coaches and team need to take on this persona and become the Dark Hokies. If you really think about it we are one in the same except our town doesn't hate the hokies. Our town, our conference, our state and our nation needs us to rise up and become the dark knight that college ball needs. Because we are a small town and have strange colors and a unique mascot that nobody understands, we don't recieve the media love like evey other program. But college ball doesn't know they need us they walk kindly following bandwagon programs that win recently. This team has given us everything, not everything not yet( national title) it's time to rise up from the darkness and #beatbama
As you guys alluded to in the defense section, O.J. Howard and LaMichael Fanning (if he plays) at TE could be pretty big mismatches for the VT LBs/whip/nickel. I'm thinking the Bama TEs could have a big day.
