NCAA group supports player endorsement plan
The NCAA's top governing body said Wednesday that it supports a proposal to allow college athletes to sign endorsement contracts and receive payments for other work, provided that the schools they attend are not involved in any of the payments.

UVA released a new brand identity today..
Looks like the Cavs embodied their feelings over how they feel about their football program and made CavMan hold his head down in shame.
Also, the font type appears to be a pretty close rip off of Virginia Tech's re-design from a few years back.

Well, here I am reviewing the latest class from the defending Coastal champs. Looks like a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again...or is it a blind wahoo swims up on a bait fish? I don't know.
I'm actually really interested in looking at UVA. They were faced with many of the same challenges on the recruiting trail this cycle that many ACC teams were: the state of Virginia was just not very deep and UNC did more damage in North Carolina than usual. This resulted in UVA singing more players from Louisiana (3) than Virginia (2). It wasn't just the Hokies.

The world changed when Virginia Tech signee Wilfried Pene was more than 30,000 feet in the air.
Pene, who signed with the Hokies in December, is from Touraine, France. The tight end headed home during spring break for a final visit home before enrolling at Tech this summer.
The worldwide COVID-19 outbreak turned the what was supposed to be a three-week trip into an indefinite visit.

ACC Network is cycling through all of the teams, giving each of them a full day of content.
VT is on Sunday, 4/26.
Football games include 2014 Ohio State (12-3 am), 2018 uva (9 am to noon), 2003 Miami (5:30-7:30 pm), and the 2007 ACCCG (9pm to midnight).
We also have games on Saturday vs. uva, but it's 1998 and 2019.
A highlight of Pitt's day is the 2007 WVU game -- where a crappy Pitt team beat #2 WVU and knocked them out of the national championship, all part of the craziest college football season ever.
